I know it's been a while since I have updated The Empress Returns. Rest assured that the next chapter (currently titled "The Heart of Mankind") is well under way (it has Sisters of Battle in it). I have been slow on my progress with it, though, because I have been giving priority to The Realms of Magic, my original story; see, I want to have that done by August, and then have it edited for publication by Christmas, so hopefully in 2017 I can be a publicly recognized author, or some such.
Also, I keep getting ideas for stories. Like what if instead of the God Emperor, Celestia was actually closer to Karl Franz; not Franz as a pony, but placed in the same position as him. I even though up what races the Equestrian ones would correspond to (Changelings would be like the vampire counts), but it hasn't gotten further than that. Will I ever write this story? Probably not, as I already have a lot on my plate.
But then the image of Discord/Chrysalis/Tirek/Nightmare Moon getting smacked upside the head with Ghal Maraz is so attractive...

No, you don't need anymore ideas Iowa, and not just because I want to see more of Empress and see if you will actually finish your Godzilla/Pacific Rim crossover.
Though I'm not one to talk since my attention gets dragged everywhichway, like right now it's settled on Kantai Collection.

No need to rush after all it is quality over quantity that matters.

If you write a MLP/Warhammer Battles crossover, and Celestia (and other ponies?) go in Warhammer's world, do you plan to have them turn humans too?

The idea of Chrysalis, Tirek and so on being smacked upside the head with anything is enticing.
