Squuuuuueeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!:3 Second favorite episode of the season!!!!!!!XD 10 hearts out of 10 without a doubt!<3

Okay Okay, take it easy fan girl;) Now, why is this episode my second favorite? Well, lots of things for starters;) :P Despite my headcanons about her parents and her brother being shattered and blown into the wind, *cough cough my story "Count's Traveling Haunted House" cough cough*

I still like Fluttershy's parents and her brother. I love it when the show does something I expect and proves me wrong on my own theories and tries something new:D This time, I am happy to be proven wrong on something:D It's still funny that Fluttershy is considered the brave one in the family and that her parents are even shyier, more soft spoken than their daughter and are complete doormats;) :P Even though, I still feel bad that they get treated like dirty doormats in this episodeXD I'm such a horrible person:/ It's interesting how Fluttershy got her love of gardening and nature from her mom:) I just wished that her parents had actual names:/ In the episode and credits, they were both refered as Mr. & Mrs. Shy.
In that case, I'll call you Fro Yo Shy

And, I'll call you Sunflower Shy

Tehee, what do you guys think of their new names?:3 ;) Wait, does this mean Flutershy's full name is Fluttershy Shy or just Flutter Shy?
And then, we come to our main topic of this episode: Zephyr Breeze

Now, I know what you guys are thinking: "Missy! How can you like him?! He's a total inconsiderate jerk to his family and to his sister!:o" In my opinion, he's just egotistical and self-indulgent and lazy and confident but not a jerk. There's a reason why he is the way he is because he was the younger sibling that probably got spoiled by his too kind doormat parents that didn't give him enough constructive criticism and tough love to make him to pursue outside his childish habits. Being the young sibling, he was naturally prone to be the personality of the family. However, due to the fact that he didn't recieve enough proper constructive criticism in his life, Zephyr developed his deep fear of failure and not succeeding in his passions. He's lazy so that way he would never fail at anything and not be a disappointment. It's completely understandable why he is the way he is. Plus, he's portrayed in a manner that's very realistic to life. Let's just say, I have a family member or too that is like Zephyr in a sense they are living to their full potential due to their own fear and insecurity about failure. I even know some people outside my family that are like Zephyr. I think we all at least have family members or friends or people we know that are like Zephyr, flawed but full of potential and can do more if they tried and faced their fears.
In other words, while I did cringe at his inconsiderate behavior at times, I couldn't help but laugh and be entertained by his quirky and egotistical and humorous mannerisms;) I sympathize with his situation and circumstances, and find him as a reletable character due to his real life counter parts and maybe the fact that he's the brother to my favorite pony. Who knows;) I also like how he's creative and into styling manes:) Plus, he's THE only person that can rock that man bun:3 Usually man buns are greasy looking, but his is just lusicious and golden:D

Hmmm, why does this sound familiar? Me liking an inconsiderate male character with funny yet charming mannerisms and a creative mind...Hmmm...oh well! I guess that will be forever a mystery I guess.

What I also like about Zephyr is his relationships with Fluttershy and Rainbow. In terms of Fluttershy, I like how he teases her like a good little bro should and he clearly loves her. Yet, he does try to ease Fluttershy of her "bossyness" even though he clearly needs it. I love how Fluttershy is strict tough love on him but in the best possible way. She gets annoyed like a realistic sibling would be, but you can tell she still loves him as much as she can and wants what's best for him. While they do not top my favorite MLP sibling pair Maud and Pinkie, but Fluttershy and Zephyr are just too adorable together!:3 They're opposites that bounce off each other nicely and in a very humorous manner;) But overall, Fluttershy was in top form in this episode and I couldn't be more proud of her, our precious baby girl:')

Once again, Season 6 strikes again as the Season of Shipping!:D This time, in the form of Zephyr and Rainbow Dash!XD

Oh my gosh, their interaction was the funniest part of this episode!XD Well that, and the mother covering her filly's ears when Fluttershy invented the "peeved" word:3 XD

Anyway, back to Zephyr and Rainbow, turns out old Zephyr thinks Rainbow is the pony that has the crush on him even though clearly that was not the caseXD In result, it encourages the egotistical pegasus to flirt with her and develop a one-sided crush. And the funniest part about this is that Fluttershy's parents think Rainbow has a crush on Zephyr and they totally believe in Zephyr's lies!XD THEY TOTALLY SHIP ZEPHYR X RAINBOW LOL!XD Hmmm, I wonder if Fluttershy ships Zephyr and Rainbow together. My guess is most likely no, but it would be utterly hilarious if she did!XD
Anyway, is it wrong that I just ship these two under Zephyr just having his hilarious one side crush with Rainbow?XD LOL! If it is, I don't want to be right;) Although, I am open to Rainbow and Zephyr to becoming a couple because they're opposites yet not and they would make the most hilarious couple in MLP history:P Don't worry though, Emerl x Rainbow is still my top OTP for Rainbow Dash romance;) I'm just being an open minded shipper trash right now, that's all;) Perhaps, this possible Mane Six member romance will inspire some romantic Fluttercord moments later in Season 6 perhaps;)

Anyway, it was wonderfully unexpected to have Rainbow Dash and she was top form in this episode with Fluttershy:)
Because of all these relationships, most likely Zephyr will be on my list of favorite Season 6 characters along with Fluttershy's parents.
Speaking of relationships, THERE WAS A CHEESPIE SHIPPING MOMENT IN THIS EPISODE!!!!XD IN THE FORM OF PINKIE PIE KEEPING A PICTURE OF CHEESE SANDWICH IN HER WALLET!XD AAHHHHH!

And to top it all off, this episode had an amazing yet complex moral that applies to us all. We should never fear to fail, we all have our doubts and it's okay to have them, but we should never avoid the possibility of failure. Especially when we are achieving towards our greatest desires and passions. If we always accepting the lifestyle of quitting and not trying, we don't truly live. We have to keep trying and strive for what we want and become the best we can be. This moral was brought to life by the unexpected yet wonderful song at the end of the episode: "I Can Do It On My Own"

While it's not the catchiest song in the season/show, it's a very beautiful yet motivating song and will definitely be on my list of favorite songs of Season 6:) Zephyr has a pretty nice singing voice, and a Fluttershy & Rainbow Dash duet is always welcome and awesome in my book:)

Overall, my dear followers and readers, do expect a "Meet the Parents & Brother Fluttercord Edition" one-shot from me in the near future and a Zephyr appearance in a fanfic in the far future;) This far future fanfic, let's just say it's premise, for now shall be the mist of mystery;)

PS The only difference between my review and Quill's review of the episode is that I don't believe that Zephyr admitted that he was jealous of Fluttershy. He admires Fluttershy's heroic efforts in saving Equestria, and probably is jealous deep down, but what he was trying to point out was how brave his sister is and how she's not afraid to fail at anything because it seems like she can't fail at anything.

While I am not like Zephyr at all, I understand his fear of failure because I too, am afraid of failure. Whenever I make an art piece that goes wrong, I get shunned by everybody. I become the ultimate outcast of the family.
This episode did give me hope. I was afraid that Zephyr was going to be a bad guy but I'm glad that he didn't!
I know that Discord wasn't in this episode but I too, also thought of a Fluttercord story where Discord meets Fluttershy's family. I don't know why but I imagine him getting all annoyed by Zephyr. *snickers*

I still haven't seen this episode yet, (Shame on me) but I just wanted to share something that popped into my head. From what I've been able to gather this episode sounds like it could be subtitled: In which 1000 Fluttershy Headcanons go Thbppth!

Yes, this is indeed the episode in which 1000 Fluttershy headcanons go Thbppth! Which I'm honestly ok with, seeing as I never really bothered to come up with a headcanon regarding Fluttershy's past.

Now regarding family they gave her ... to be honest, I'm kind of divided.

Regarding her parents, I thought they were cute, but at the same time I kind of wanted to smack them the way I've wanted to do with Fluttershy when she has acted like a doormat. (*Chuckles* Considering that now she doesn't back down from yanking Discord back in line, she's certainly come a ways.)

Regarding Zephyr Breeze, he did make me laugh several times during the episode, but I also found his attitude and behavior annoying. I glad he shaped up toward the end, and while I could understand his earlier behavior, it didn't stop me from constantly wanting to whack him upside the head for the majority of the episode.

I'm not sure exactly why he found his jerkiness annoying, as opposed to entertaining, the way I have with say Discord, Quibble Pants, or even (if we're including fanfics) Screwjob. I'll have think on that some more and see if I can figure out why.

Unrelated Side note: I've got this little mental image of my possible TDwtDT future Fluttercord daughter bonding over gardening with her grandma, and possibly getting a sunflower tattooed on her neck.

I can understand why you might be divided. Not only is it based on personal taste in characters, but also based on the fact that this episode (let's face it) did show Fluttershy's parents and Zephyr Breeze at their worst and didn't balance it with their good qualities (which they didn't show alot of in the first place). With Discord, Quibble, and Screwy, their not so charming quirks/flaws is more balanced with their good qualities and they're funnier than Fluttershy's folks & Zephyr Breeze. So I'm hoping that they will pop up in another episode like next season and show us their good qualities:)
