Took a while, didn't it?

"Reflections: Quiververse Edition" has gotten four hundred views for its first chapter. Took a while, didn't it?

I'm not surprised that it's not a popular one - it's an adaptation of a comic story that had very mixed reviews, and it doesn't have the benefit of Sunset Shimmer in a prominent role. I mostly adapted it so that I could make some changes in light of plans for future stories, changes that are still having consequences down the road. Plus it was something of a test, to see if I could get away with adapting a story from the comics. I think I mostly got away with it because I made sure to credit the original artists, because I made changes to the material in question, and because...well, I'm not exactly a prominent author, am I?

Anyway, I do have plans to do more comic adaptations, though they'll wait for Season Two. There's three stories in particular that I plan to build upon and try to fix flaws with, though I'll keep them to myself for now. That said, after a certain point, there will be comic stories that will be outright incompatible with the Quiververse - I refuse to touch that upcoming "Ponies of Dark Water" story, for example, simply because I hate that 'good guys turn evil because of plot device' storyline.

As for comics that I do consider to be canon thus far, well, I'll update with a rough list and continuity notes once I've got a few more stories done. Here's hoping someone out there's looking forward to that.
