On a completely unrelated note from MLP, I just recently found out about the infamous Berenstein/Berenstain bears conspiracy. People who grew up with the Berenstein bears remember it being spelled just like that. BerenstEIN, but all of our childhood books's titles have changed to be called Berenstain bears. This blows my mind, because I clearly remember it being spelled with an "ei".
Why am I bringing this up on fimfiction? I want to know how many people on here remember it as being spelled "BerenstEIN"
You guys think I'm overreacting? What if you were to wake up one day, go online, and find out that My Little Pony...was never MY Little Pony, but was in fact "OUR Little Pony"....or simply "The Little Pony", and going through all the episodes and the theme, you find out it was always that way, and never the way that you remembered it being?...
Your mind would be blown...This is pretty much how I'm feeling with the Berenstein bears now being "Berenstain" bears, and the fact that apparently it was ALWAYS that way.
Heh.... I can imagine the arguments that would go on in a situation like that if MLP were to change...Other people would be like "It's OUR Little Pony! It was ALWAYS OUR Little Pony...."
And then here comes us TRUE bronies with all our MLP wisdom, acting like the jerks we are, and being all like...
"NO! IT was MY Little Pony! It was always MY Little Pony! Ya get it??? MY, MY, MY, MIIIIINE!!!
........Dang.
