More XCOM adventures from our army of FimFiction and Pony human forces.
Operation Moon Mother
Hey, a mission that didn't turn out to be a trap! Almost forgot what that was like. Got word that one of the resistance groups had hacked into the alien network, but their device had been discovered and needed to be protected until it could finish downloading all sorts of juicy information. So team 2 was sent in. Horizon, Rainbow Dash, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo. It was a very by-the-numbers mission. That got everybody except Rainbow Dash wounded. Sweetie Belle managed to resist a mental attack from one of the aliens. We aren't sure if it was because of strong will or because she's just that oblivious. As the after-action report shows, Horizon was the most active one this time.
Operation Hammer Face
So nostalgic. Sending team 3 out to attack and hopefully loot a landed UFO for supplies and technology. Just like the good old days. Also a chance to see how our new cool flying robots handle. The big enemy robot we chopped up gave our engineers some cool ideas on how to improve our own robots. So Twilight Sparkle will be deploying a Mark II neat flying drone robot thingy for this mission. We even gave it medical equipment to heal injuries. Serafina, on the other hand, declined medical supplies for her new fancy flying drone gizmo.
During the mission Soarin finds out just how much the stun lancer electro-swords hurt when a single blow knocks him out and almost kills him. Whereas Chrysalis also finds out how much the snake-ladies suck, when one of them manages to kill her with their tongue'n'wrap maneuver. Now we will never know what her plan was.
Yep. Very nostalgic mission. One death, two almost dead, and the mission almost failed at least once.
Now that the teams have gotten some experience in the field and our supplies are stocked up. Time to go contact another region and see about the blacksite facility they have been telling us about. Surely a secret heavily guarded alien research base will be easy to handle.
Not sure if I ever showed the Queen's soldier profile, so here you go.
BRB I uhhhhhh certainly don't have to go take over the hive of the enemy secret agent who was infiltrating our ranks to keep tabs on me, because I would never arrange for my ex-wife to ambush her in an effort to kill two birds with one stone, look I think this questioning is getting pretty personal okay, I just need to go ... um ... buy some cake.
