Our short week long hiatus that is, lol;) I know, I know, it wasn't much a hiatus but...it was fun to call it a "hiatus";)
We kick off the end of the mini "hiatus" with the return of the Great and Powerful Trrrrrixie!

Trixie told me to introduce her this way, despite my recent budget cuts on my reviews -_- Happy Trixie?-_-

Trixie: Yes, the now properly reformed and truly humble Trrriixie is satisfied with the marvelous introduction! Though, it could have had more fireworks.

*rolling my eyes* Anywho, *back to a smile* Trixie is back by brony demand, thinking we wouldn't see her again after Season 3. Here's my opinion of her character, while I wasn't a fan of hers but I understood why everyone was a fan of hers. She's not a bad character by any means, she's a decent character. I felt like she could have a funnier character in her premier episode as well as in her Season 3 episode. The only time I found Trixie funny is in the fan interpretations/works of her & in the Equestria Girls movie.

Because Trixie wasn't funny in her episodes, I didn't particularly enjoy her episodes as a whole :/
However, in my opinion, "No Second Prances" is my favorite Trixie episode to date and found Trixie at her funniest in today's episode:D Checking all her previous appearances to the curb! Her funniest line/scene in this episode was definitely, without a doubt, her "It's a working title!" gag :D
Not only was she funny, the entire episode was pretty funny like Trixie too :D It was hard to pick the funniest moment out of this episode, but if I had to choose it's probably the scene with Angel and Starlight <3 Starlight pets him and calls him cute, but then she has to leave. However, this leaves little Angel in the state of goo-ga love state over Starlight with little hearts popping over his head!XD

As I was saying *getting off the floor*, I want to see more lovey-dovey Angel around Starlight in future episodes and in fanfiction as well:D I would love to see, both in the show and in fanfiction, Discord taking advantage of this new fact and would poof Angel away from Fluttershy and into Starlight's arms so that way he can have some peaceful alone time with his wifey Fluttershy;) I'll probably use this idea for a fanfic, though the fanfic will probably be super shortXD!

Another really funny moment in the episode is when Starlight meets Big Mac, oh no 0-0...the shippers are back0-0....noooo!

As I was saying, hold your horses shippers cause there's not much for Starlight and Big Mace because...well...Starlight is not a fan of stallions that don't talk muchXD And because of this, she casts a spell on him to be a talkative and articulate stallionXD And then, Applejack makes a face and a groaning sound that clearly shows how displease she was with Starlight!XD LOL Applejack made this scene for me!

Speaking of Starlight, not only was she funny in this episode, but she was also full of personality and sympathetic moments. We even got moments of Starlight being quriky and making mistakes due to her not quite being certainly reformed, which is what I've been waiting for!:D Oh my gosh, that took forever!XD I love how she relies on magic to make her first impressions, and can get carried away with this first impression, as shown with Big Mac;) So far, this is my favorite Starlight Glimmer episode:) Yes guys, she's on her way:) She's on her way in me liking and accepting and appreciating her character;)

Even Trixie was able to get in some sympathetic moments as well and character development, despite using Starlight in order to kinda get back at Twilight. I like how Trixie wasn't completely reformed because by the end of the Season 3 episode she was in, I couldn't consider her being reformed. Much like how Discord wasn't completely reformed after "Keep Calm and Flutter On". It's understandable that Twilight forgives Trixie and wants Trixie to improve, however, she's cautious by not completely trusting Trixie and especially doesn't want Starlight's first real friend out the Mane Six and Sunburst to be Trixie because Trixie could have betrayed Starlight's trust and use her (as show in the episode) OR lead her down a path of negative thinking.
The conflict between Twilight and Starlight reminded me of the conflict that would happen between me and my mom when I was younger. My mom is a great judge of character, so when she first meets you, she can know what you're all about by looking at you:) Which is an amazing skill to have and I wish that I had it. When I was younger, I made friends (who were very nice of course) but they were more about themselves and not about sharing the same amount of kindness that I would share with them. The relationships weren't equal, my mom would try to warn me about these kinds of friends, but I took it as an insult because I thought she didn't trust me and my judge of character. Which was far from the truth. Like Starlight, I then learned the hard way about these friends.
As much as I didn't like it having Twilight having to apologize Starlight in the end for being right about Trixie, at the same time, Twlight is not Starlight's mom. She's a friend, she can only provide advice not to control Starlight.
But in the end, I'm glad that Starlight was a way of helping with Trixie's reformation:) I appreciate and like the friendship between Starlight and Trixie and can see why they're friends:)
The only complaint I had with the episode was that there were instances where the characters weren't acting like themselves. For example, Fluttershy in the audience was scare of a Manticore at first on stage (even though she can tame Manticores in a blink of an eye -_-) Another example is it took Twilight awhile why Starlight was so mad at her for setting her up with other friends, c'mon Twilight you're smarter than that-_-

But overall, this episode gets a strong 8 hearts out of 10!<3

Actually what they should do is have all the reformers meet (Luna, Discord, Diamond Tiara, Gilda, Sunset, and of course, Trixie and Starlight) and have them make their own council like some sort of Reformed Guild. Just saying.
