May not be writing at the moment, but...

I have been starting to pop up on Twitch from time to time. If you're ever interested in poking your head in, take a gander over here. I'm actually about to go live here in a few.

    Saying Adios to a Friend

So, folks... I'm sure most, if not all of you, know Obselescence in some way or another. For quite some time, he's been a moderator here, and organizer of quite a few story competitions and unexpected fads. Go stop by and wish him well, if you'd like. He had a large impact on me over the years, it's sad to see him go.

    Status Update

Next chapter is currently sitting at 2,500 words out of the 4,000 or so that I've set as a goal for chapter size. It's a bit hard going, I know what I want to write, but writing it is another story altogether. Once I have the rough draft finished, it's going to need a fair bit of work to get it up to a posting standard, but hopefully I'm thinking two to three days until it's ready for

Want some more Batpony/Thestral-centric content? Take a gander!

So, two of my long time friends on the site here (Talking shortly after creating accounts, both of whom have poked at my stuff on and off for some time now) have recently come together to work on something that is heavily centered around a created society of thestrals. They've told me it should be quite an interesting read, and I'm inclined to agree, having seen some of the content they're

    Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas to all! Enjoy the day, wherever you may be, whomever you may be with. Go watch some Christmas movies, have some holiday cheer... I suggest watching Home Alone 2. Or Die Hard. Both are excellent ones to watch.

Question for you readers · 9:31pm Apr 23rd, 2016

So, quick question to pose to you all. As I am looking at the meager amount of words for the next chapter (seem to be deleting more than I end up writing it seems, heh) I have a question to ask.

Would you rather me update as I finish a chapter? Or would you rather me build a buffer so that, if my writing does stumble again, I have chapters ready to go? This is all assuming I can write at a decent pace again, mind, but each have their own ups and downs to it, so curious what you, the readers, think.

Next chapter, either way, currently stands at 800 words or so.

Personally I would prefer the buffer, I would be fine with waiting longer for chapter updates if it meant that at some point later on we would get them more frequently.

I have no real preference, since I've thoroughly enjoyed your works. I write little things (as a small hobby) and I tend to pop out a few chapters at a time, though I usually start losing my momentum in most of my little tales after ten chapters or so...

It's probably not too helpful, but just go with whatever flows more naturally for you. At the very least, I'll gladly read your stuff whenever you put it up. Stories like yours are one of the few joys I have the pleasure of appreciating.

I would prefer the buffer approach, I hate it when I get just a couple of breadcrumbs every so often, much rather wait longer if it means you'll have more ready to go.

Yeah, buffer would be good.

Buffer.

Also it's great to see you back.

Post, not buffer.

I would do the following for a while:

Write 3, release 1. Repeat until you have a decent size buffer of stories up and ready.
That way, you're still releasing at a reasonable pace while building up the buffer.

Of course, that's assuming you're able to get back into a steady rhythm. Making a buffer *at all* while not having much time to write equals bad idea.
