I just don't know what it is... But... I just can't seem to focus on my stories recently... It sucks.

Okay... So I'm very hopeful it doesn't counteract the ideas I had before about the Equestrian Dragons... But in case it does... Here is basically the plans for all of them anyway.
*No real spoilers are present, but if you don't want to know, then your decision*
So, essentially, The Dragons in the Burning Fiords and those in Equestria are very different. Where as the Dragons of Equestria are (as of my knowledge) Fueled by greed which in turn relates to their size (And Age? Feel free to correct me on that.) Essentially they are more naturally aggressive and animalistic than those in the Fiords.
The Fiord dragons are... To put it very simply, weaker. They are less physically capable and their bodies do not grow with greed, instead they grow naturally over time. The largest and oldest Dragons are the Elders, there are... around 8 Elder Dragons that each can live for extremely long periods. These elders form a council that is responsible for creating laws and regulations that directly conflict with what is safe, and what is magically capable. The Dragons have a Council that does this already, but the Elders are the highest authority.
Looking at the images of the episode so far, I'm hoping it doesn't conflict with anything, but I may need more time to modify things... 
Which is always just... greeeeeaaaaaat.

Anyway, While I write this, might as well put up a status update:
A Day In The Hives: Ovi is probably going to be the next one up. So shield your eyes and cover your loins. *Seductive eyebrow raise*
Tales Of A Guardian: Next Chapter should be out relatively soon, just need to make a few small additions to it and it should be good to go.
Pen Pals: *Crickets* Okay so that will be worked on next. I have an idea where to go with it, so hopefully it won't take too long.
??? : Still in development. As soon as I get all of this *Waves hand around frantically* Figured out. I might write up the first bit. No promises though. Keep in mind, if I do write this story, I will need to put ADITH in the hiatus box for a bit.
Well. If there is some work around with the whole dragons thing is that the episode focused on 'Equestrian dragons.' As in say your group are a fringe on the border of some other country.
I say this because the episode would have brutally plowed my head canon for dragon succession and leadership if they were set in the country of Equestria.
Ah technicalities. My greatest ally.
On a separate note. Friend of mine will probably really enjoy Ovi's hive. Primarily because she's a massive Perv.
By any chance are your Dragons somewhat inspired by Spyro the Legend of the Dragon series. From what you detailed there they sound pretty similar.
I am yet to watch season 5's conclusion and anything after that. I really need to catch up as it is starting to affect the stories I am reading with spoilers.
