Ryu: We have Dragon Lords? Since when?
Da Wan: Since the time when you killed the one who usually keeps the other dragons in their place.
Ryu: Who?
Da Wan: Crackle.
Ryu:... Who?
Da Wan: The last Elder of the Fire seat.
Ryu: Ember's dad?
Ember: Yes.
Ember: What's this about my dad?
Ryu:... Who's this?

Ryu: ...alright. But I still don't get the point of there being a Dragon Lord when there's still the Council.
Da Wan: The Council sets and enforces the rules, and when none of the Elders are present the Dragon Lord's the one who is usually in charge. Think of the Elders as the Head of Dragon-kin and the Dragon Lord as the Voice.
Ryu: I'm getting the feeling that the Council is being forgotten. I'm usually with the ponies in Equestria, Leviathan lives under the sea, Sora travels wherever he wants to, Titan would rather live underground, Ember probably doesn't care, and you usually hibernate until you call us for another meeting.
Da Wan: Yes, well... Um, have you seen the scepter, yet?
Ember: *raises scepter*
Ryu: If I suddenly start glowing like a nightlight when I'm trying to be sneaky somewhere, know that I will be very pissed.
Ember: *grins sheepishly and hides scepter behind her back* Ehehe...
Ember: I still can't believe that this runt shares my name. I mean, she doesn't even have the right colors!
Ryu: Don't care. *turns and starts walking away* That was all I wanted. Bye.
Da Wan: Don't you want to at least stay for the celebration?
Ryu: Nope. I still have to kill Hacky-man, and I'm barely even done with the preparation stage.
Ember: Just make sure that you don't embarrass all dragon-kin by getting killed.
Ryu: Uh-huh, yeah. Sure. Love you, too, Tsundere. Bye! *disappears*
Ember: Grrrr...
Ember: Her face is turning orange.
Da Wan: Don't mind her, dear. Come, let's get something to eat and celebrate you new status.
