Finally, the antijossing of one of my favorite scenes (kid-ified more than a little, which is fine)
Because dammit, My Little Pony really always did need ponies tapdancing to big band music with "drums, horns, saxophones: a fanfare to stir the blood, sassy and audacious as it burst out of the past to cavort before the future." And starting out on four hooves in piaffe, crossing them over to go more sideways, and then rearing up on two hooves to twirl and do amazing things like a horse Gene Kelly…
The rest of the episode, eh: it was fine, they can't all be Amending Fences. But pony tap? Called it. Pony tap is awesome. Long may it wave
If they ever show Sweetie liquid dancing with Scootaloo locking, DHX will really have blown the gaff
Yeah, I kind of thought of that scene while watching the episode today, too. I also kind of thought of one of my own stories because it dealt with the same worry of friends growing apart with different interests, but yours was way more on point. Hope you're doing well.
3859476 Well enough, thank you
Still turning out a chapter a week of Precious and feeling much better now that I'm keeping to that commitment: and I'm working on the successor project Tales of Versus, giving guitar lessons, and mixing a guy's rock/roots album and the last two are paying gigs!
So things are still pretty dicey, but Jinxie is hanging in there, in style
3860098 Those last two sound really cool. Well, all the things sound vool, but I have a deep interest in music and lyrics composition because I just feel so bad at it. Also, I haven't started reading Precious yet, sorry.
3860439 Anypony who's waiting for it to be finished before reading, has roughly a month to go. It's pretty close to done (and it's been one of the more insanely ambitious projects I've ever taken on: lots and lots of subtle and or secret stuff in there )
