A sad day for me...

So last night, my Grandpa on my mom's side of the family passed away at 12:00 AM and I just found out this morning...

I don't know when the funeral is, but I've been in VA for a few days now, and this has hit me hard. He died of cancer just like another grandpa of mine did when I was younger, I wish this didn't happen....

Its always sad when a family member dies, I know how you feel. My grandpa on my mom's side died a few years ago From cancer as well, he was the only grandpa I ever knew and it still hurts to this day. I'm here for you buddy, if there's anything I can do just ask.

I once had news of a similar occurrence in my family when I was younger. Saddest thing was, we were at Disney World, on Valentine's day, when we got the news. Hit her hard. Not me and my sister, though, since we were so young, and I'd only met him when I was an infant, so we had no memories of him. From what I've heard, though, he was a great guy.

One of my best friends (a troopmate from boy scouts,) lost his dad to cancer in 2014, on Thanksgiving I think. That one hit me hard. I actually knew him, to a degree. I mean, he even helped me make a working crossbow for a middle school history project. He will be missed.
