Good morning! (Or Evening, or whatever subjective chronological greeting is best suited to your current time,) I figured since there's over 1100 of you, I owe you all an update.
The update is thus:
Fucking nothing.
I'm not writing anything, I'm not doing anything, I'm not even really going anywhere with my life. Aside from starting a regular schedule for the first time in my entire professional career (Monday-Friday, weekends off) I have absolutely nothing to report. This new position offers me 0 opportunities to write as I'm used to, which means it falls on me to write at home, which means I'm not writing, and I likely won't be for a long time.
So.
Yeah.
TL;DR:
I'm a little bitch, don't expect anything from me.
So, are you totally done with writing, or is there still a chance you'll crap out an update/new story at some point?

At this point, I can't say with any amount of finality. Chances are some random stroke of inspiration will strike and I'll shit out a one-shot or an update somewhere down the road (I actually cranked out about 10k of an Intimate Details sequel, but haven't/likely won't finish it.)

I'm so close to throwing it in, but I'm afraid if I drive that nail into the coffin, I'm eventually just going to go back on my word. Because, as I have mentioned, I am a little bitch.

i was here when you started (well kind of) and i was on your 60min live writing and i read most of your stuff, including your blog.
you did a lot of cool stuff for free and the enjoyment of others (i hope you enjoyed your writing too)
so i didn't expected more of you/ from you.
its fine and okay to find other hobbys that use your time.

Maybe it was just the context. The way you said it; almost sounded like you were saying "don't worry, we didn't expect anything of you from the start" or something similar.

well, that was the effect i was aming for. but i didn't come here to hurt your feelings.
some years in a relationship teach a few things about how to say certain things ...
and sometimes it helps that the mindes of other people work in a similar way and jump to quick conclusions.
everyone picks the shoe that fits or something like that.
