To War Arc Finished

Whelp folks it's be a wild ride hasn't it? The To War Arc was filled with a lot of factor that reeked havoc on Twilight's mental state and pushed her to, and well past, the point of no return and we now see exactly what is walking around Equestria unsupervised, with her own army to command and only a small thread of control over her.

I think we can all see why Commander Sparkle doesn't hesitate to lie to every persons she cares about because lets face it, there is no way they wouldn't turn on her in a heart beat if they knew what sort of monster she was and I think we all know what that would result in. While Twi can be brought down by the Royal Sister the casualties of those caught in the crossfire would be high.

And if Reaper ended up emerged again all bets are off as the Royal Sisters would be hard pressed to stop something like that as it is far more powerful then Twilight is and is fueled by pure insanity with a single minded determination to do what ever its objective is which is whatever it decides really and nothing will get in its way.

I should point out that Reaper is not something that will appear very often if ever again as Twi has to be pushed to a certain point where her sane mind can't take it anymore and retreats in on itself leaving the insanity to run rampant fully unchecked as what remains of Twilight sanity keeps it under control for the most part.

We also see what finally drove Twilight from basic sociopath to full on psychopath who enjoy inflicting pain on others even her friends, even if it is just mental pain she still enjoys watching it.

Now that is not to say she still doesn't value friendship and such, she does very much and its what's keeping her under control ad she still has aspects of her old self as evidence of her not wanting her books ruined by the researchers and such. It a weird combination of her old self and her new self though knowing what is true and what is a manipulation is anyone's guess.

Also I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the reader of Soldier of Magic for over 1000 readers, I never thought I'd ever have a story reach that level of readership or the level of favorites it has received. I know this is way late but I didn't know what to do for the milestone as I have never reached one.

So here is my huge THANK YOU!!! to the readers who have stuck with SoM thins long and I hope you continue to enjoy it as we move onto the last Arc of the story: Homeward
