    Well, color me impressed.

All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.

So I've been busy away from ponies... Again...

With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.

That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.

I cannot wait.

My PC and SSD are ready.

As long as the reviews are good!

3791870 As much as I want to slap down $60 on a Steam preorder right now, I'm inclined to wait also.

I'm 90% certain I know what I'm getting myself into, but I've been burned before. By games that more or less lied about their content (Destiny) and also by amazing looking games that have ended up very, very shallow (SW Battlefront).

In the case of good reviews, or at least reviews that confirm what I'm looking for in this game, I really, really hope the review embargoes end before launch, because I definitely want to make sure this baby is ready to go at 12:01 / 3:01 / whatever release window they choose.

Da. All of the previews look superb that they have built this game around such a unique concept and from the ground up, but the purpose of pre-orders has failed away from what it once was. It was supposed to be a promised copy of the game when they were on physical medias and could take days or weeks to get more copies. Now it's just... ugh. What the warhammer games are doing holding back content, and the same with the total war series now.

I do not preorder anything anymore. I always wait for reviews. It was that thst convinced me to give Xcom 2 a try, and boy, was I not disappointed! And the mods are making it even better!

$60 to have the space police beat your space ass for shooting a space dinosaur.

The big kicker is that you do fuckall in the game.
Heck, there's one video they were hyping up the fact game has trading as a goddamn revolutionary feature.
All you seem to be able to do is go from system to system, land on planet, scan for critters (that you don't even get to name), kill said critters, shovel the ground with your gun (I'm not even kidding) and then sell off all the shit you gathered for "units" which you then use to upgrade your ship.
And that's the whole game. Oh, and if you do this too much the galactic no-fun police will come to stop you, regardless of where you happen to be, they're omniscient and omnipresent.
Basically, all the game has to offer you'll get to experience in the first three hours.

It really is "wow, it's fucking nothing": the game.
The unfortunate thing is, it will still sell as a game where the entire 3 hours you'll enjoy it is just looking at random number generators then getting in your shitty ship and flying to another random number generator.

3792027 It's more than that, but you're one of many that doesn't understand.
