300th blog, awww yeah! Might as well make it fun! A friend of mine asked me what my OC is like so here's the breakdown:
If you've seen Mean Girls, this might seem familiar to you 
Summer is a lot like Karen Smith...minus the mean part 
A struggling comedian, she's very clueless and often questions the obvious, but very spunky and always looking for places to eat. She once got kicked out of a cooking show for microwaving a bowl of salad 
She often has a tough tumble with her two roomates--one is a female wrestling trainee while the other is a passive-aggressive note writer that sticks post-its everywhere. Of course, she'll tell Summer when she's being a pain in the flank, but she has her moments 
That's about it, but what about YOUR OC? And If you don't have one, what personality would you give him or her?
Glitter Rose is an inspiring writer who loves mystery novels and enjoys a good cup of tea. She likes taking risks and going the extra mile to get things done. She has a small group of friends because she's much too honest for a lot of ponie's liking.
Spectrum Soul's personality is literally split into the colors of the rainbow. He essentially has a controlled multiple personality disorder that allows him to divide his thoughts and focus on which trait he needs to have the most at the moment. Each emotion has a defining good trait, but if run the wrong way the opposite effect can occur. Red is ambitious, but prone to anger. Orange is organized, but can extend into OCD. Yellow is fun and happy, but reaches into zealous and occasionally crazy. Green is his default; confident and friendly, but inversely can be scared and reclusive. Blue is a natural leader, though he can also be commanding and bossy. Purple is a genius, but can reach Spock and even Maud levels of apparent emotionlessness. Pink is love, though he equally represents lust. Spectrum also has Brown, White, Black, and Grey, but since those are mixed colors their personalities tend to err on the side of extreme.
Mine's named Skylight Crimson! She's a quirky pegasus that loved flying outdoors and exploring. She isn't afraid to get her hooves dirty for an adventure! A mix of klutzy and subtly wise, she often comes off as a somewhat ditzy girl with a love for being happy for happiness's sake. She may also secretly be a romantic...
Here's one of my OC's.
Goldie Pie ("Granny Pie"), Pinkie Pie's maternal grandmother is a scientist, scholar and Earth Pony mage (Earth Ponies can do ritual, protective and healing magic slowly, channeling through their hair and hooves -- they are rare) who is a professional midwife and responsible for assisting many thousands of births through her decades-long career. She is highly intelligent, philosophical and often more than a bit sarcastic, especially when somepony says something stupid to her. Very monogamous, like Pinkie's family in general, she was deeply in love with her husband Jasper Quartz, the father of her numerous children including Cloudy Quartz Pie, Pinkie's mother. Since he died seven years before Luna's Return fighting a Shadowdrake, she's lived for her work and her family.
Basic description of Goldie Pie.
Her children other than Cloudy Quartz -- Pinkie's maternal uncles and aunts.
Goldie Pie was the one who taught Pinkie Pie how to dispel a fear-sending by "giggling at the ghosties."
My OC
Golden Hearth, is kind yet stubborn. She is loving and warm to others never incisive. She can never understand when she needs help. She has pheonix ancestery (dont ask how) and is always trapped in a body she cant escape, always reliving.
Now that's a question I haven't heard since the EQ Wars. *thumbs up to whoever gets the reference, oh and a chimichanga*
My OC has never been consistent. He varies, and if i'm correct. The last name I gave him was Sound Board. Anything after this is his most recent variation.
Sound Board is an aspyring voice actor. He's not much for public work as he has anxieties. He's not one for relationships, but he's bisexual. Yes I know. My description is a mess. Sound Board was bullied as a kid, until his 8th year of school. (He's "losely" based on my own life and lifestyle.) He's always looking grumpy, but getting to know him reveals it's all because he's had enough with everyone and their, pudding brain stuff.
That's all I can remember.
My main OC is Candlespark.
She is daughter of Celestia and Luna, and lives before the latter's banishment. She enjoys the position, but understands that some are not as fortunate. She sometimes forgets this, but tries to help as often as possible.Despite being the daughter of two alicorns, she is a unicorn.
Although I have not added it in the image (linked above), I imagine her Mark to be a black alla breve, with colour, oranges, blues and purples, bursting from behind it. Some of this colour swirls down her hind legs, and a little across her back and neck. She is quite musical, and she often only feels confident leading an orchestra.
Celestia and Luna personally teach her. Celestia tends to teach academically, but Luna is more spontaneous, and could be teaching a melody one session, and Poncasso the next.
She cannot cook or garden for anything. She once had a Zebrican herbology teacher, especially for herbology. He quit within the next three days. Same for her Prench cooking teacher.
Her main problem is usually that she is nearly the opposite of a perfectionist: she likes things to be asymetrical, her bedroom is hardly ever tidy, and she positively abhors when the cooks make her dishes too artistic. She has hated the last one since her babysitter took her to a café in Canterlot.
