So I finally got around to watching the MLP movie...

I bought the movie a while back, but never quite got around to watching it. But after I got back from Everfree Northwest, I decided to catch up on some pony. First watched the episodes in the last half of season 7 I hadn't watched yet, which was nice... getting back to back Zecora episodes after meeting Brenda Crichlo (who is awesome and super nice). And with that done, it was movie time.

    Orphaned Land touring the US...

For those with a love of prog/symphonic metal, especially if it has a dash of Middle Eastern flavor to it, Orphaned Land is touring the US. Good metal out of Israel with a positive message to boot.

    And then the murders began...

So was reading stuff on facebook, and a link to this turned up. The basic premise, that "adding 'And Then The Murders Began' As The Second Sentence Of Any Book Makes It Instantly Better". Though in some cases, people add it after the third or fourth sentence. But it does make one

    And back from Everfree Northwest

A long day today. Got up at 7 AM and prepared. Left the house the eight. Then a nice 130 mile ( 208 km for those with a sensible measurement system) drive. The convention location was easy to find. Parking at the site, not much so. Took a bit to find an open space. But eventually I did. And then it was time to head inside.

Traveling Mare - yet another new story (sort of) · 10:58pm Feb 28th, 2016

So thanks to a comment on the "Just One Kiss" chapter of the Diamond Cutter Anthology, I went digging through some folders. And what did I stumble upon but a story I'd essentially finished almost three years ago, but never gotten around to publishing. So I figured I'd toss it up.

It's a tale of Trixie. Trixie, on the road, caught in a storm, seeking shelter in a way station. There, she meets a stallion and tells him the tale of her life so far.

You can read it here.

Also found this pretty awesome piece of art that fit pretty well, so I trimmed it to use as a cover.

And now, back to finishing off chapter 3 of Sea Swirl's Submarine.
