New stories: Sea Swirl's Submarine & Pool Party. · 5:22pm Feb 27th, 2016

A mix of something I started a while back and something completely new today. And coincidentally, both seem to connect to water in some way.

Sea Swirl's Submarine:

Sea Swirl happens to be my favorite background pony. Something about her color scheme and her generally happy disposition. She's also a bit of a curiosity. What's up with those dolphin cutie marks while living quite far away from the ocean? So some time ago, I started a three chapter fic to explore the character's potential a bit. It's a silly little adventure tale about the CMC trying to get an interview with Sea Swirl for the Foal Free Press, and winding up crewing her submarine instead. And, in a rarity for me, a story without a single appearance by Diamond Tiara (the only other case of that being One Thousand Years Ago if I recall correctly).

Chapter 1 is went live yesterday, and if all goes well, chapter 2 should be today and 3 tomorrow to complete the story.

Pool Party:

I was browsing Youtube, listening to some Littlest Pet Shop songs (been catching up on that series on Netflix), and stumbled upon a couple of shorts they did. And one of those inspired me to write a story about DT and Spoon throwing a pool party. It's the shortest story I've written in a while, clocking in just under 2k words.

Oh, and it's another one for the Diamond Cutter Anthology. My thirteenth one, meaning I've now caught up to Yukito for number of prompts written for. Three left to go to complete them all. Check it out here or here.
