So, I've started to try and see what I can do with A City's Understanding, one of my Tier 1 (Harmony's Creed, A City's Understanding, Under Loyalty's Flag, Equestria Girls: Racers) stories and I cancelled some time ago. To tell the truth, I started to really hate that story. I look at it now and I'm like "why?" However, I feel like my premise and idea was good, so I feel like it could be salvaged. I also feel like if I DO any non-fanfiction, it would be an original adaptation of A City's Understanding.
So, I'm going to try and see what my inspiration can lead me. Should I rewrite it? Should I just see where it goes? Or should I just let it stay stagnant and focus on the stories I SHOULD be writing?
(I don't think there's a song that capture's A City's Understanding like this one)
I love the premise of the story though it does at times feels like it went off track. Some characters introduced early on have not been seen again and the equality movement seems to have more traction than the Templar-Assassins war. Maybe what you could do, is go back a bit and start writing in another direction.
3776506 Well, if that's the only thing, I could alter what I have right now. I never planned for the Unionist/Equalist to have as much spotlight as the other factions. Once that little arc was done, I was planning to go right back to Templar stuff. So, I think I can actually work with that with the current story.
I would vote on holding off for now as you currently have Harmony's Creed: Brotherhood and Sons of Discord going. You also have Rainbow Dash's prequel Under Loyalty's Flag plus several other stories going on right now. I would recommend finishing one of your other stories first and then continuing on with this story. You still can put out chapters when your muse strikes but you have a lot on your plate right now.
