    Another Lonely Year

Yes, another Christmas spent all by myself at home. No friends to go to (their homes aren't in the vicinity), no family members to reach out to, and it's not easy to video chat with my relatives when I never felt the most comfortable living with them in the past.

A Prelude to the Grand Holiday Before the Year Ends

Normally I don't share music related stuffs on here (but I should), but what the super electronic duo, All Hail the Silence, composed of American artists BT (Brian "Wayne" Transeau) and Christian Burns have recently released this wonderful jolly song, Christmas Upon Winter Hill. Nothing can beat Christian's cheery yet emotional voice blended perfectly with Brian's choice of instruments

    Tis my birthday!

A very important date not because it was my birth date, but the (near) end of a heated summer, end of summer vacation, aging year parallel to the golden leaves and breaking winds sliding into my DMs—

I would like to thank SkyeDragon for sending me this wonderful artwork she worked all day to perfect. Gladly appreciated it, sis!

As the Winter Break is slowly fading away... · 3:49am Feb 20th, 2016

It did not go as well as I thought, relatives arguing about random crap, tensions and conflicts. I have been struggling with motivation and loss of proper humanized thinking, could not concentrate on anything, just as if seeing clouds roll by regardless of the sizes or the shapes.

I did, finish typing up a story that was longer than I have expected though. Perhaps that was the only good news (and a fun trip to City College, as one of my friends from a nearby chess club of a library goes there) I have left to share.

Now that high school is returning (especially a school like mine), I have to kill myself to work out my stress produced from work. Procrastination plays a huge role in it too.

How about you guys?

Pretty much the same...and I just now remembered that I have 2 tests to make up when I get back:ajsleepy:#JuniorStruggles.

3765672 DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT! I'M ONLY A YEAR BELOW YOU! I'M FULLY AWARE OF THE UPCOMING JUNIOR CRAP!

Anyways, I mean: I wish you all the best of luck, and may the merry be married.

3765687 :rainbowlaugh: I get it! Just be lucky u have 2 years until Senior. I'm halfway through my junior year and already prepping for 12th grade and college! If anything Its amazing how I've not died from exhaustion yet!

3765690 I'm not sure how I can handle all the work I have to (mentally) prepare for... How did you do it?

3765717 Eh....I keep organised, and If that doesn't work...I have the excuse that I have Aspergers Syndrome and a bunch of learning disorders that sorta prohibit my cognitive mindset.

3765727 Hmm. interesting... Looks like I need organization, but I never follow my schedules.

3765772 neither do I...fate just works (not always) in my favor from time to time. I have terrible organization skills, yet I still manage to study and complete work on time! I find that weird. Also cool story!

3765776 You do! Tell me how to not procrastinate!

3765778 well planning things out prior to is a good first step. Having a lot of checklists around helps too. Making sure your binders/folders/trapper keepers are all in some form of filed order. Standard stuff really, and keeping up with dates is important too.

3765781 Haha! Goes back to my prior problem! Following my plans!

3765799 Well it also goes along with keeping an organised schedule as well as applying research skills too. The more you look up ways to better your organization, the more successful you'll be in the school/work environment. (try some "life hacks" on organization that you find online...they may help!):pinkiehappy:

3765809 I am trying to pull myself together by going to the library and doing my work there, and reviewing my notes (if possible for some unmotivated guy like me) from school.

3769259 Hey If I were you, while your at the library...look up books or websites on organization and effective study habits! Trust me, it'll be worth it!

3769298 I have searched a lot of those at home, but it is really hard for me to follow and practice it.

3769313 I know...it was a bit of a adjustment process for me too. Going from slacking off in school and getting bad grades (I even repeated a grade:twilightblush:)...to getting myself organized and keeping up with my work on time. It takes time though I'm confident that you'll succeed!

3769358 I just don't know how long though... Junior's next year.

3769373 That should still give you enough time to prepare.
