We all know your stance on Griffins, but I was wondering something else, I haven't seen it addressed, you could discuss it with Crystal if want. What is your opinion on hybrids? Like hippigriffs and kirins, to clarify a bit, kirins are a cross between a pony a dragon and hippigriffs are a cross between a pony and a griffin.

Did the Royal Guard used to have a different oath during Stratus Knight's time? Is that simply his interpretation of what the oath means?

Is that part of the 2.0 revisions? The only oath I know of refers to Princess Luna and only Princess Luna.

3750082 Royal guards swear an oath when they join. That hasn't been depicted, just referenced by SK as one of the three he took.

The one we see is the house guard oath. The third one was the officer's oath, also not depicted but differs little from the regular RG oath.

I see. I found the wording somewhat ambiguous as it is currently written.

Those words were far more serious than the ones prior. The Royal Guard oath was important, but the second part was the oath of a House Guard. It meant putting your life and survival second to somepony else’s. For most ponies that was the opposite of rational.

I read this as meaning that the first part was the Royal Guard oath and the second part was specific to the House Guard.
