A Little Change in Schedule for "Something's Happened to Scootaloo"

Hey guys. I feel as though it's time for another update. This one won't be as cheery, but don't fret! I'd hardly call this "bad news" either. To be blunt, I don't think I'm able to keep up with the three day chapter schedule. Here are the 2 reasons why:

1. School. Yes, I hate it, but with all the work it throws at me, it makes writing on weekdays somewhat difficult. I don't actually get home until around 5:00 the latest, and I proceed to take a nice, long nap and shower. Then it's off to all that homework. Writing these chapters takes a good amount of effort, despite their short length. Combining that work with my schoolwork can get pretty tiresome.

2. My writing process is criminally slow. Yes, chapters in Something's Happened to Scootaloo are rather short. My goal is to keep them somewhere within 1,000 and 1,500 words. But... this takes me awhile, sadly. I'm an extreme perfectionist when it comes to my writing, and I'll spend a mighty amount of time rewriting the most minuscule things. Top that with proofreading and editing, and I'm in for a long while staring at the computer.

So, what's gonna happen to the story? Well, don't worry, I'm still putting plenty of effort into this and chapters are still going to be published. Instead of one chapter every three days, expect one chapter every weekend.

Chapter 6 is 3/4ths complete, and it was meant to be published on February 4th. That's today, and I'm really not confident in getting out a polished product in time. I haven't even begun to edit it.

I hope you guys understand, and please don't lose hope in the story. Trust me, it will be worked on until completion. As mentioned, expect a chapter every Saturday/Sunday. Thank you all for the support and feedback thus far! Love you guys!
