    Sincere Shilling!

If you like D&D stuff, or just tabletop rpg stuff in general, one of the people I follow online is trying to get funding to create something to sell for Dungeon Masters to increase immersion.

    Happy Holidays

This is your yearly reminder that I wrote a decently funny Christmas story in the long-ago times. If you haven't read it, you should! If you have read it, maybe you should just stick with blurred memories of how good it was.

    Books!

So, due to my high level connections here and there, I now have an advance copy of several highly sought after ponyfic books. Now that I've had a chance to check several of them out in person, I have to say that Ponyfeather Publishing does excellent work. Anyone able to pick one up, at Bronycon or ordering them afterward, should totally do so.

Last Week on City Of Doors 7/7/2019

So, I've actually been posting on my primary blog lately. Which has been nice, given that I've pulled myself out of depression enough to actually do stuff like that. So, here's been my daily content over there:

Anime: Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

First FimFiction catchup post of the year · 6:58am Jan 9th, 2016

Yep. That time again. For the people that check their FimFiction notifications more than the rest of the internet. What I've been posting on my primarily blog over on City of Doors. Today I'm going to go by reverse chronological order!

As always, the big master reivew list is here: THE MASTER LIST
With added functionality in various new pages along the bottom edge that people who follow my blog already know about.

Today's post:
Pony Stories 536
Where I come to the amazing revelation that one of the most critically acclaimed stories on the site is a cliche ridden mess!
Also a moderately lengthy review of Property of the Crystal Empire by TheMessenger. I didn't like it, but nothing was too bad about it. Just a personal lack of impact. That and I figured out pretty much everything early. Well, except for the main character being Flash Sentry. I didn't figure that out until like halfway through.

The day before that:
Pony Stories 535
Where I post a strip of the online comic Skin Horse.
Also a short review of The Millennial Vault by Door Matt.

Before even that:
Pony Stories 534
Em Dash by Cloud Hop

In the long ago before time:
Non-pony Reading 2
Where I ramble on about the space science fiction collection about space and Lovecraftian horrors. I really liked it.

In the mists of recorded history:
Pony Stories 533
Hearth Warming’s Trappings by Georg.

So far back, it must be etched on stone tablets:
Pony Stories 532
Wheels: Not to be Trusted by TheBandBrony

The era that time has forgotten:
Non-pony Reading 1
Where I ramble on and sing the praises of the old school science fiction stories of the Sector General series. I even mention the specific omnibus I read with two of them in it, from time to time.

Centuries past?:
Pony Stories 531
The Longest Night by Tundara

Before time:
Pony Stories 530
Odrsjot by Imploding Colon

I've run out of clever time/history related titles for these:
Pony Stories 529
The Element of Surprise by Trick Question

One more:
Pony Stories 528
Innavedr by Imploding Colon

Oh, hey, now that you've read Em Dash, you'll be able to appreciate my short story about the cheese grater in its proper context!

If "appreciate" is the word. :raritywink:

Yep, I've read that too.

Appreciate is... close to the word I'd use, I guess?
