    Oh Goodness

So, it would seem that I fell out of touch writing my story. Probably was stretching myself too thin, honestly. I was going really gung-ho on this story that I was essentially just sprinting; pushing a lot out in a short time, but not for in the long run.

    Sicker than a Dog

Oh my god. Since past Saturday, I've just been absolutely fucking sick. This is the worst that the flu has ever been kicking my teeth in. I'm thankfully on the mend right now. Two days ago, I was still barely keeping food down, just slowly sipping water, ginger ale, and antibiotics. Since yesterday, I've been feeling marginally better. I mean, I'm still hot enough to cook eggs off of and still

The other day, as I was adding chapter 2 and doing some advertising of my story, I found that my tale was added to a couple groups. Unfortunately, they were essentially shame groups about how much a given story sucks. One group was called "Absolutely Disgusting." It was placed in a sub category for terrible pacing. I was never notified of my story being added to any groups, so I don't know when

    Chapter Two Is Out!

I'm excited about my release of my second chapter in my story, The Coltic Prince! I know my first chapter and prologue were a bit dull as I set the ordinary world, but I'm proud with how I introduced conflict into the story by the second chapter and the characters' responses to said given conflicts. I really didn't want to start

A "Once a Month" Deal · 12:20am Jan 8th, 2016

So I've been thinking about my story. I have zero intentions on giving up on it, but I'm not a seasoned writer that can push out story after story, either. Maybe because I'm writing an epic over a short story, maybe because I want quality, I can't say in comparison to the submitted stories of others. All I know is that in real life, between hanging out with my friends, schoolwork, and other that other stuff that exists in "reality," I don't always have the time to sit down and write.

So that is why I wanna do something where, for the time being, I at least get out one chapter a month; two if I'm especially productive. I've currently got Chapter 2 of The Coltic Prince ready to publish, but I've yet to push the protagonist out the door. I have, however, introduced the conflict. I think I'll want to add more to the story so that way the protagonist is right out the door and chapter three can continue on from there. It shouldn't take too much longer to add... I dunno. Three page worth to it? Chapter 2 currently has 12 pages, or 4,492 words for those not familiar with the format I've adjusted my Word.

I've got about a week to keep up with my personal deadline, as the prologue and chapter 1 were publish Dec. 14th. I'm excited to put this chapter out due to the introduction of the conflict within the story. Prologue and chapter 1 were dull, but a starting point as I wanted to establish the "ordinary world." To advertise, I want something to catch readers' attention; the conflict. With chapter 2's release, I hope to advertise with something more worthy to hook people in.

For now, that's all I've gotta say. Keep warm out there, people!
