So, it would seem that I fell out of touch writing my story. Probably was stretching myself too thin, honestly. I was going really gung-ho on this story that I was essentially just sprinting; pushing a lot out in a short time, but not for in the long run.
Though it is something I'd like to get back to eventually. Let me see... according to my editor, he recommends that I write some other short stories first to limber myself up and to revise what I currently have of my story, including a little more everyday life before I try to push the introducing conflict to the story. Thing is, I kinda feel like I've already rambled on too much about that without including the conflict, but maybe if I get to writing it up, I'll do so.
I've had some ideas for short stories based around Keldeo that I'd like to dive into. Maybe that'll help a bit; more info on who he is in short stories separate from the main story? Best of both worlds; limber myself up and not get too heavy with everyday stuff in the story itself. Though will still have to do a little reader's arc to keep those interesting. How dull would it be if all I had was a normal day at school and it ends with the prince doing homework?
But we'll see. For the time being, hello again! I initially forgot my login!
