I believe that stories help us to ennoble ourselves, to fix what is broken in us, and to help us become the people we dream of being. Lies that tell a deeper truth.

    Sweet Jesus, My Back!

Ok so the other day I wake up. All normal right? WRONG!!!!!! I had the most cutting pain in my lower back I've ever experienced! It was so bad I had to spend, not exaggerating here, 20 minutes figuring out a way to force myself to sit upright and then stand up. Don't know what I did to mess up my back but I have a heat pad and plenty of advil. Apparently that and warm baths are about the best I

    Happy Easter!

Hope you're all having a wonderful day! I'm enjoying a nice day off of work playing iRacing. My brain is too smooth for real drivers at the moment, since I haven't played it in over a year, so I'm going up against the AI:twilightsheepish: And also I feel like I should get in the habit of blogging a bit more. It's been a while.

    Happy New Year

Happy New Year everypony! I spent the night, and day today, just gaming:rainbowlaugh: Playing some Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, which is absolutely fantastic! If you loved Baldur's Gate 3 and love 40k, Rogue Trader is the perfect RPG to get into. As for my plans in 2024, I do have a story nearly finished. It's a quick one-shot and I'm hoping to upload it before the end of the month. Hopefully you

The Deep Web · 6:41pm Jan 7th, 2016

So how many of you know about the deep web? I've just started learning about it and let me tell you it is messed up. You can literally find anything there. A lot of illegal things. You can buy drugs, guns, and almost anything else. I obviously don't recommend buying any of that shit. It's a fascinating place. I now want to learn how to safely browse the deep web! I say safely because there is a lot of malware and virus risks on there. You can't just walk in to the deep web not knowing anything about it.

I wouldn't recommend it. The government generally monitors it

just be careful, there's some seriously fucked up shit there.
but the level of security you can achieve is pretty neat.

and as a general rule, avoid chan boards with a .onion domain

What are they?!? I want to check it out!

I will be EXTREMELY careful. I don't want to take any risks I don't have to.

Just look up the deep web on youtube. You'll find out what it's all about. Fair warning, there is a lot of messed up shit. Really bad things like child pornography.

I've had personal experiences with the deep web. My advice? Don't go there. People make a bunch of videos about it on YouTube. I always shake my head at this. They shouldn't be messing around with that stuff. And neither should anyone else. But in any case, it is interesting to learn about.

Eeeeeww watched a few videos, now I'm all creeped out. There's some sick fuckers out there.

3670825
I know. It sickens me to know people like that are out there

3670881 well I want to know if they're so secret, how can I just google links for them?

3670740 Have you gone in? You ca't get in without special software, right?
I just you tubed about it and saw a site called "Daisy's Destruction." I did't enter the site, I just heard abut it.
This is exactly why I prefer to work in my own little world with dogs. I can't believe people:fluttercry: can be so mean.

3671552 I've had friends who have gone to the deep web, and I've used their computers. You use the Tor browser and you make sure that you don't have anything that could identify you open (like a word file, a picture file, anything). You make sure your other browsers are closed. You make sure you have extra security. Firewalls. The whole shabang. And guess what? You can and will still be hacked. Don't expect to use your laptop or computer or whatever casually after downloading Tor. It basically becomes the Tor unit. And then your information is free game for anyone. So you don't want anything that will identify you on your Tor unit; no pictures, no word files; no anything.

Things to expect on the deep web? Every kind of porn, including porn with animals, kids, amputees, dead bodies, etc etc. It only gets worse from what I listed. Drug markets, weapon markets, human trafficking, torture porn, the creepiest of the underworld people. Basically it is where the scum of the earth collects. And people who decide to use it casually...not knowing what they are getting themselves into. And nerdy people who know what they are doing and mess with everyone.

My advice? Don't get yourself involved. Creepy things go on there. My friends have a lot of creepy stories too, including one story about being cyber stalked on their web cam before they erased their hard drive and thew out their laptop. Yeah. Best to just read stories/ watch information about it. Don't get personally involved.

3671584 oh God.. No. No I won't. I can't stand seeing or even hearing about things people do to children and animals. Ugh. I'm all creeped out now just knowing about it.

3671765 Yeah, it is best not to get involved with the deep web. I mean you can watch videos about it (informative ones on YouTube or some other information sharing site) or read informational articles about it if you really want to know more about it as a whole. But I wouldn't recommend using it yourself.

3671773 NO...absolutely not. You know..when I was your guys' age...we didn't HAVE the internet. At all!! WE didn't have google or any of this. What did we used to do to find out information, I wonder?
Anyways, I didn't really get involved with computers until I was in my thirties, and I still only know the basics. if even that. To be honest, you guys on this site have taught me a ton of stuff!!
My son is ten and he's on you tube alot.
I monitor the best I can but I know he still delves. But these video games and some of the crap on you tube- I ALOT for young minds to see and grasp. ALOT.
Even on here, some kid followed me who is twelve! TWELVE!!\What is a 12 year old doing on this site reading porn stories!? And the images on these video games...oh my God!
I just think that kids lose their innocence too fast today and the internet is a big reason for it. YOu and your generation probably dont know life without the internet, I feel fortunate to be one of the last ones who grew up without it. LIfe was alot nicer without all this technology. It was slower, people were calmer...It was just....nicer. I know the internet is a valuable resource, but sometimes i wish my son could grow up without it.

3671865 I am definitely a lot older than you think I am (young adult). :P I don't have any kids though. I prefer to borrow other people's. :derpytongue2:

3672317 Well thanks. You are cool too. ;)
