Little Ponies Lost is Almost Halfway Through

Hello all my few dozen followers. It is I, that fan of 80’s pony, Al-1701. And I’ve been actually posting content, yes-no?

Okay, enough with the Don Carnage imitation.

Enclave vs. Empire, the REAL Difference Between Dream Valley and Equestria

When it was still relevant, I had commented on multiple occasions D G D Davidson's depiction of G1 in his story, A Mighty Demon Slayer Grooms Some Ponies, was dull and insulting. Along with having slogged through the story itself, I had read many of his blogs about his thought process in creating it. One such blog probably explains the linchpin behind why he made Dream Valley such a depressing

    Alternate Timelines Provide Potential

I had abandoned Equestria Nova, because I found the reasoning for it to be faulty. I was kind of raging against Friendship is Magic and other things. Looking back, it was not my best moment. I abandoned it, and started looking at other possibilities.

If "My Little Pony 'n Friends" Had Continued...

Here's a what if. What if "The Transformers" and "G.I. Joe A Real American Hero" didn't self-destruct in 1986? Not only did they set themselves up for cancellation, but they also dragged down My Little Pony and Jem and the Holograms before their time. They originally ordered 61 episodes of the My Little Pony side of "My Little Pony 'n Friends" with the intent to use "Rescue at Midnight Castle"

We Need More Episodes Like "Canterlot Boutique"

I'm frankly burning out on Friendship is Magic as a series. I've never been a fan of sitcoms, especially Aesop-driven ones meant for children. They tend to run out of material at some point, and the delivery of the morals gets rather repetitive. I especially hate the "lose to win" cliche as no one in their right mind would accept the terms the story provides without exhausting their options.

Alternate Timelines Provide Potential · 2:17am Dec 30th, 2015

I had abandoned Equestria Nova, because I found the reasoning for it to be faulty. I was kind of raging against Friendship is Magic and other things. Looking back, it was not my best moment. I abandoned it, and started looking at other possibilities.

However, after the "Cutie Remark" and its alternate timelines, I have been provided with some possible openings to resurrect it. I'm concentrating on the Sombra timeline in particular. The idea being that the timeline didn't start and stop with Twilight's arrival and departure. It had existed and continued to exist, Twilight's short time in it a result of the time travel spell.

The war against Sombra raged from almost two decades until the Equestrian forces won through attrition. However, before being vanquished, Sombra committed the ultimate act of spite. He used his dark magic to destroy the infrastructure and rendered the water, soil, and air marginally usable. Their natural resources exhausted by the war, and their kingdom poisoned, Equestria was dying.

A century of trying to restore their homeland went by in vain. It continued to degrade as the once grand kingdom cannibalized itself to try to maintain smaller and smaller pockets of civilization. Celestia, desperate to save ponykind, looks to the mirror she and Starswirl the Bearded had used to travel to other worlds. Two parallel beings cannot exist in the same world for too long without breaking down the separation between worlds. However, a world with barely any parallel would not suffer that problem. If they could not restore Equestria, they could escape it.

A team from across Equestria is assembled. They will travel to one of these distantly reflective worlds as an advanced scout force. The world can only be accessed once every five moons, and they would take that time to establish a presence and explore this strange new world in preparation for colonization.

However, these brave explorers might have found themselves in more of an adventure than they bargained for.
