Another expansion. No, this isn't me leaving the fandom AT ALL · 12:28am Dec 10th, 2015
Just so we're clear, I'm never EVER leaving the fandom as far as I know. I love writing for this fandom, and I love all of you. However, through my writing contest I found another website which allows me to post ORIGINAL work as well as fanfiction. I plan on using it for original work, and I plan on linking my patreon to it as well.
I figure, I can probably get paid to write original stuff a lot more than writing fanfiction.
That isn't to say that I'm not going to continue writing fanfiction. I have big plans. The next episode of Code Lyoko EG is almost done, and will be the shocking arc finale, and once that's done I plan on working on a new story starring Starlight Glimmer as the main protagonist. This story will be in the same vein as my original works such as Inner Demons.
I also plan on getting back to Kamen Rider Great Illusionist and Humanity, as those are stories that I just let sit there for too long.
So yeah, this supreme overlord is expanding her army. Once my first original piece is started, I'll make a blog post here so you all can take a look at it.

Ugh! Ok, Sapphire I understand you can grind coals and make diamonds out of them but Starlight Glimmer is the most pathetic piece of sh·t that's ever come out of the franchise. She's petty! PETTY! I'd sooner see her die before she's a "good" character.

But like you said, I can turn coal into a diamond. The trick is to make the character just as unlikable as they were before, but give them a number of problems that spark REAL growth.
3613842 It's good to see you again. I've been really busy lately. But the problem is Starlight Glimmer's motivations are made clear yet lacking. And no, I wasn't a fan of the season finale. Anyone else could've been better. I honestly think this was a wasted opportunity for Chrysalis to try and undone the wedding failure. Let's review the villains.
Nightmare Moon-Sibling to the most powerful princess in Equestra, lived in her shadow for years. Turned into a tyrant
(Though this sounds petty it's the family drive that makes sense)
Discord: (God of Chaos. Exists to break the balance of Harmony. His very existence compromises everything the ponies stand for. The best reason to describe him as a villain is to say. "I exist because you exist" However he is show to be kind and later reforms.)
Chrysalis: (Conqueror. A queen of a massive hive-mind great spy and deceiver. Wanted love to feed and sustain hive like a parasite.)
Tirek: (Massive demon of Tartarus. Hates ponies, believing himself to be superior to them he took their powers and tried to destroy them all. , Plus another sibling problem since his brother love the ponies.)
(Now for the semi-villains)
Trixie: (Showmare. Boastful of feats she never accomplished and very prideful of her shows often referring to herself in third person)
Diamond Tiara: (Rich Filly and bully to the CMC. Often picking on them because of the fact they didn't have cutie marks. "That has changed however". Often hanging around her satellite Sliver Spoon.
Flim and Flam: (Con-artists, scamming ponies for a quick bit often easily thwarted.)
Sunset Shimmer: (Former Student of Celestia. "That right there makes her anything even higher level threat but she's a semi-villain because she was a villain for one movie" considered just as powerful as Twilight, brash and arrogant)
Starlight Glimmer:.......(Regular towns pony. Loses friend after he gains his cutie mark and sent to Celestia's school for gifted unicorns. Loses contact with him and thinks cutie marks are evil so she makes a town where nopony has a cutie mark and everyone looks to each other with smiles though they're oppressed by a pony who is just forcing her Idea of equality on somepony else. THEN when the mane 6 destroy her illusion she never tries to learn from it and then tries to reverse time. "The consequences of doing so could've been severe. In my opinion she's a piss poor villain at best.
3613996 She may not be a great villain in that regard, but I thought she was a breath of fresh air compared to the true monsters of Equestria. And I look at her more as the sixth ranger of the team. She started out evil, but in the end joins the team.
Looking at it like that, I can forgive what they did with her as a character.

Edit: Ok, Maybe I should more specific as to why I didn't like her. Out of a fandom made for kids I don't expect much from the villains. At first I expected Swiper levels of evil from these villains to which some are. However I have a bit of a standard when it comes to villains. Especially my favorite, The "Tragic" villain. The kind that feels his/her anger toward something is just. It gives the villain more light and portrays the hero as an imperfect being if they either created or had a hand in creating them. Starlight is a tragic villain yes, but the reasons behind her tragedy are hollow, borderline childish. Her revenge plot was far worse. I mean let's face it......She wanted to reverse time to break the Mane 6's friendship. Yet not knowing the consequences of doing that. She could've made a timeline where one of the villains won permanently. There goes her precious "Equality" it won't matter if you and everyone you doomed bow before someone else.
