And now, we come to the final G5 pony of the new main crew. With only four levels and the power of David Silver's Ponyfinder, it's time to finally address the elephant in the room--what happens when you take Rainbow Dash and force her to think for herself? Well, the end result stands before you, and her name is...

    Izzy Moonbow: Fifth Edition Dungeoneers

It's time for Numero Tres in this series, and boy howdy is it going to be a wacky one. With only four levels to work with, multiclassing is a risky, risky business--especially in D&D Fifth Edition. Luckily for us, David Silver and his Ponyfinder setting have a few very crafty tricks to make things... a little easier. And who is the

    Hitch Trailblazer: Fifth Edition Dungeoneers

Once more we delve into Fifth Edition D&D, with the help of David Silver's trusty Ponyfinder work. Once more I say that these G5 characters are only fourth level by the end of the film. The Floorplan of the Castle of Friendship · 1:55pm Dec 2nd, 2015

You know, I've not seen a real attempt to map out Twi's new home. Let's change that shall we?

This is an exterior shot, edited by myself to demonstrate the possible internal divisions of the castle. Assuming the Royal Quarters are only one floor high, this means the Canopy level is two floors, the Balcony level is also two floors, and the Trunk... well, the Trunk probably has double-height floors, for two floors.

Now the rooms we've seen are the Main Hall, Throne Room, Dining Room, Library, Spike's Bedroom, and Twilight's Bedroom. Canonically, the first three are all but confirmed to be ground level--the main hall is definitely ground level, with internal balconies and a set of stairs in the back that seem to reach beyond the internal balconies. There's also been mention of a kitchen--it's the room that AJ decorated--but we've yet to see it; for functional reasons, I believe the kitchen might actually be located in the Balcony or Canopy level. Speaking of the Balcony level, this is where I believe Twilight's new Library is located; if we assume that her and Spike's bedrooms are in the Royal Quarters, putting a library two levels lower encourages her to get exercise (and theoretically check on any servants living in the Canopy level, a good idea for a Princess of Friendship).

This, of course, leaves a lot unexplored....

I play around with the idea that the tree is a six dimensional structure, allowing it to adjust its internal layout to suit Twilight's needs. I also imagine that the root system has a passage that leads to the Tree of Harmony, as well as many magical phenomena in the roots. If I am feeling especially mythic, the roots are passages to other parts of Yggdrasil.

Well, the extra dimensions would explain how Starlight's spell functioned as it did. On the other hand, I want maps.

Infinity in a tree

Screw physics, we have MAGIC

I have talked with friends about drafting Canterlot Castle. Honestly, I think Twi's castle will be easier, so I will be attempting that very soon, like starting today. If nothing else, I hope to get an idea of the ground floor. (hopefully my B.A. in Architecture is useful for important things like children's cartoons, not just a job).
