The one thing that kind of saddens me is when you are busy working on a couple stories and suddenly a cool new story idea pops into your head. 
For those of you who might be concerned don't worry I am still working on my current stories. While the Smiling Stallion is going slowly I can safely say I should have a chapter ready for you guys later this month. Also I am almost done with Part 3 of my the Apple Left Behind series and it should be available either this month or next month if things go well with proofreading/editing.
Well, I am certain you are all curious about this story idea I was talking about so I'll tell you a small part of it. 
The Mother of the Monsters
Note: Some info has been with held to prevent the idea being stolen.
The story takes place thirty years after the CMC found their Cutie Marks. Prior to this point Scootaloo had married and had a colt named Scooter. In a fateful accident that damaged Scooter's eye his mother disappears. Seeking to be reunited with his mother Scooter goes on a journey to find his mother only to be abducted by a mare who is referred to as the Mother of the Monsters and Scooter discovers that his eye has mysteriously healed.
Sadly, I can't give away too much information on what happens later or who the Mother of the Monsters is out of fear that someone might steal the idea.
What I can say is that it will be a unique and interesting twist on one of our favorite characters from the show.

3608823 I actually already started writing the first chapter, despite the fact that I should be working hard to finish up more of my chapters for my story the Smiling Stallion.
One thing I can give away is that this story will be taking place in the same story-verse as my other stories: The Apple Left Behind, Abandoned by Pinkie and the Smiling Stallion.
