Season 5 Finale

I managed to see the last ten minutes or so of the season 5 finale yesterday before leaving for work. Now the only question is, what's going to happen to Starlight Glimmer? This might sound petty, but I really hope she doesn't become a regular member of the cast; it's too soon for another change to the shows status quo. My idea is that after going back to her hometown and being reunited with her friends, she starts using her insight in how cutie marks can negitively affect friendships to help those going through experences similar to her own mend their friendships.

I'd like to say a word about how the writers apparently dropped the whole equality phylosophy theme, but I'll leave that to those who watched the entire thing.
