New Chapter Soon · 11:56pm Nov 28th, 2015
Okay! I just finished the rough draft of the next HeartBeat chapter. Short of having some good editors help me, it's going to be a couple of days before I'll have it edited and ready. Any volunteers?
In a related matter, my output has gone to near zero. That's because, in addition to pharmacy school, I've started working. And I started playing Fallout 4. Between all those, my free time to work on my stories has dropped to near zero. Hopefully I'll have a lot of time after the semester ends. That's the week after the week after next.
This isn't an excuse of why it's taking so long. Just an explanation of why.
I have Fallout Four but I stopped playing because I caught a bug right out of the damned box. I had to reload several times before I could get out of the damned door during the game's prologue. So yeah I get it, Fallout 4 can suck up you free time, in the worst way possible unfortunately. I'll resume once the patch is in place on my P.S.4.
Then there is the matter of you being school, yeah while I am looking forward to more of this story school must always come first. That is after all the most important thing here.
I also am playing fallout four, and thus not writing stuff. You're not alone.

Yeah, it's eaten up well over 100 hours thus far. I've even taken to playing it during class. Gotta love subtitles.
...I may have a problem.
3575747 Yeah you might alright, my advice take some time off from it. You don't need it eating into your classes.
I can help with editing again If you need.

It's not eating into class time. It's eating into my sleep time. I typically use lectures to catch up on sleep. And yet I'm still probably in the top third of my class academically. Granted I'd be at or near the top if I actually tried, but at this point in my school career no one cares if it's an A or a C.
3575778 Wow, that's pretty remarkable. Still though you should sleep when you need to, trust me the effort is pretty rewarding at the end. Although I will admit to falling asleep during one of my classes during my junior year of high school. I did still pass the class but I had never done that before and we didn't have the stuff you do when I was in high school.

The stuff we do? Please. It's depressing how similar grad school is to high school. The attitudes and maturity of my peers certainly haven't changed. So far it's been an absolute breeze. Though the next year is the one that's supposed to be hard. We'll see...
3575815 Wow. I am so glad I never went to college. Well here's hoping you'll be challenged next year. For me it's only fun when it's challenging.
Also I was in high school from 1990 to 94, so yeah it was very different. trust me on that.
