Short story is long + other things

So one of the short stories I had planned is turning out to be more of a longer story, maybe four chapters or so. So it's taking me a little longer to get organized. With luck I've have something posted in a few days or so.

In other news, with regards to the much longer story I mentioned in a previous blog post, I believe I solved my dilemma of where to place it in the FiM timeline. I'm only a few episodes short of catching up with what's been broadcast for season five, and some of the events that occur in early to mid season fit very well as a nice backdrop with what I wanted to do with the main character. So that solves one of the bigger problems.
