    I am back.

Um... Hi. I... um... I, uh... I'm b-back. So... hi. Al-also, I am sorry. For being gone so long, I mean. It's... Things haven't been... great. And we got our eviction notice on my birthday, so I am probably gonna disappear again for another long while when we get kicked out. So... sorry for that, too. I just... **sighs and looks down. I am sorry I have been a bad friend, leaving you all with no

How I view certain terms, or: Max's glossary.

There has been some confusion about what I mean by certain terms. So, I am creating a glossary of terms as I use them. Because they are how I use and understand them, and I am not the brightest woman in the world, they might be used wrong. If you want to, you can correct me (and I don't mind if you do, I encourage it), but I may or may not revise how I use them. I also

Humming along · 8:08am Nov 12th, 2015

At 652,530,669 bytes, (or ~622 MB, for you non-computers out there :raritywink:), Project: Maxive is humming along nicely. Although it is difficult to guess how big it will be when fully reconstructed, I would venture to say it is currently ~0.07% to 0.55% reconstructed, based on my projections. I realize this is a significant swing, but due to the multitude of factores that will determine it's final size and configuration, it is the best estimate I can currently give. Depending on my ability to cross reference information effectively, the final version is predicted between 119,292,626,874 and 881,798,201,353 bytes, which is the source of my current completion estimate.

I can't wait to see this at its full efficiency!

Ooh, fractal-y. The effort you're spending to retrieve that data is impressive.

what is this?

3537606 Me nether! (It'll probably be a while, though.)

Fractal-y, 3537641?

The effort you're spending to retrieve that data is impressive.

*blushes* U-uh... I-I try...

3538016 Project: Maxive is a personalty database containing everything I know. You can read more about it HERE. If you meant the picture specifically, it was a screenshot of a scan I did of the database using a program called WinDirStat.

3539364 oh, wow, intense...

3539357 The image you posted reminded me of rectangular fractals.
relativitybook.com/CoolStuff/erkfractals/phi_to_fibonacci.gif

It makes sense that the fractured database looks a bit like a fractal.

3540015 Oh, that is awesome!

3540024 I didn't know there were rectangular fractals. The finished database will look even more like a fractal, due to WinDirStat representing Window's nested file structure the way it does.

3543566 Ah, so that's what it represents. Fractals can exist in any shape or non-graphical medium. I think they're pretty cool.

3543814 WinDirStat is free. I recommend getting it and scanning your computer, you can find large files that are no longer used, and it will help you to clean it up. It's also a bit fun, to see the way that the computer looks to the computer. I like to imagine it like a city in the computer, with the individual files being buildings in it.

And I also really like fractals. well, the way they look, anyways.

3543884 It says it works on Windows 8 I assume it might work on Windows 10. I'll keep it in mind next time I need to clear some space.

3544140 Personally, I just find it fun to scan my stuff...

3576370 Stated like a true exhibitionist.

3578941 You're a quick one. I edited that post in under a minute. :raritywink:

3579039 That's strange.
17h, 46m ago - your message
15h, 59m ago - my message responding to "voyeur"
57m, 5s ago - my message responding to "exhibitionist"
1h, 47m difference on my end between the first two.
15h, 2m difference on my end between the second two.
It must have not updated on my end? Weird...

3579153

Both!

I mean, I changed "voyeurist" to "exhibitionist" in under a minute (maybe two) yesterday. Your response just prior seems to have noticed I made that change, so I assume your first response was to "voyeurist." :moustache:

3580956 I meant, you wrote the message saying I was a voyeur. 1h 47m later, I responded to your comment, while it still said on my end that I was a voyeur. Then, 15h 2m later, I saw the changed message, and responded. My point was that for some reason, even though you edited the comment, it still showed me the original over an hour and a half later, and I found that weird...

3588901 Oh, I see. I've noticed that unless I refresh a page I often don't see edits and new posts.

3588964 that's the weird thing. :applejackunsure: I just loaded the page, and responded. I didn't wait on the page.

3589925 That is weird. Not too surprising, I guess, since computers and servers are so complicated.

3590636 Yes, I suppose so...
