Rarity Investigates: A fun, noiresque episode starring Best Pony. The Wonderbolts continue to be presented in a less than ideal light, but most of that is due to Pony Gilderoy Lockhart. 4/5 bottles of cologne.
Made In Manehattan: Coco Pommel! A tragic end to AJ's hat! An interesting moral! Theater Troupe Hipster Ponies! RARIJACK UNDERTONES OUT THE WAZOO! 5/5 tacky hat stands.
Brotherhooves Social: Despite a first act full of Applebloom being an insensitive little... sister, and a second act full of cringe comedy, I do have to give this episode credit for a wonderful final four minutes. 4/5 invented cousins.
Crusaders Of The Lost Mark: I did not see that coming at all, any of that. While I feel Diamond Tiara's redemption was rushed in some ways, overall I think this episode was a home run. 5/5 HOLY CRAP THEY FINALLY HAVE CUTIE MARKS.
The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows: Fun times. Not much more, nothing less. 4/5 wavy balloon ponies.
Hearthbreakers: I got undermined by canon.
T'was a good episode, though I find Marble to be overrated and Limestone to be underrated by the fandom. Holder's Boulder smells like future episode setup... An overall pretty fun episode, though not quite amazing. 4/5 mantleplace ponies.
Scare Master: This episode doesn't really hit its stride until the third act, and I in fact skipped most of the tea party scene, but where it does work, it works incredibly well. Another token Fluttershy episode of no development, but I found myself oddly content with the ending. Also, Flutterbat! (Also, when did the intro change?) 4/5 sticks painted white to resemble bones.
I wouldn't call Wind Rider Pony Gilderoy Lockhart. He undermined the next generation to protect his own legacy rather than steal other ponies' achievements. At least, I assume he didn't steal other ponies' achievements.

3512316 I thought it was implied that in the process of undermining people, he stole a few achievements. Idunno, I'd have to rewatch it.
3512497 Indeed! There seemed to be a lot of interesting possibilites with her. Marble's okay, I guess, but she just struck me as moe for the sake of moe - at least Coco Pommel had some other personality traits one could look at, like her fashion career.
