Para talks: Steven Universe Season 1 Episode 2: Laser Light Cannon · 7:15pm Oct 30th, 2015
Alright, here we go.
This episode begins with Amethyst and Steven wanting a restaurant owner to give them something called 'The Bits'. Which are fry bits.
After that, Steven mentions a second sun and all the Gems assemble on the beach.
We learn that the second sun is actually a giant eyeball!!!!!
Pearl says that the only thing that could break it is Rose Garnet's laser cannon.
And Rose is apparently Steven's mom.
Steven thinks his dad might know where it is but the gems don't think he could help.
We then go to a Car Wash where a van is sitting.
After beating the van around, Steven finally manages to set the alarm off and out comes his dad. Who is a hobo.
Okay. . . the show is starting to get a little real here.
The dad, who is known as Greg, takes Steven to a storage shed where Greg puts everything that won't fit into the van.
Steven ties a rope around his waist and begins looking through the stuff.
At the far end of the shed the cannon sits.
They then tie another rope to the cannon and use the van to pull it (and everything else) out.
They then drag it to the beach, and along the way Steven plays a song made by his dad.
Oh. . . so that's where Flufflepuff got the song from.
So anyway, they get to the beach and Steven frantically tries to turn the thing on.
His dad tries to make him stop, then Steven says the thing his father keeps saying.
"If every pork chop were perfect, we wouldn't have hot dogs."
This, for some reason, powers up the cannon.
Greg gets a tear in his eye as the cannon shoots the eye ball and the world is safe.
End of Episode.
I think I liked episode one more then this one.
But don't get me wrong. This episode was still good. On par with what I expected.

Steven Universe. Stahp being good.

Trust me, Greg being a former Rockstar will come back in a very epic way later on.

Steven Universe has such a great soundtrack.
Anywho, Greg is awesome. 'Nuff said.
