Also, this looked unbelievably stupid.

Don't get me wrong - the movie was fun. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and the ending at least made slightly more sense than EQG1's, but... it wasn't nearly as good as Rainbow Rocks, not by a long shot. Convenience is one thing, but this was downright inconsistent and lazy, and cracks in the foundation laid by EG1 really start to show. Fingers crossed for EQG 4, though, because at this point I'm just a sucker for punishment.
