I just typed up a few paragraph long blog post but I was stupid and deleted the wrong tab so I'll summarize here

    1) I didn't know that the passwords are screwed up now, I wasn't here for that, and I don't plan on coming back

    2) I do commissions on DA, see here for more, here's some examples of my original art without bases:

For All You Nerds Out There · 10:09pm Oct 23rd, 2015

Read below if you want to hear something nerdy.

Omg! My computer (a 10ish year old dell) FINALLY updated! Before I was running Xubuntu 10.04 (a really old OS that wouldn't update so none of my apps worked and everything was super slow...) and I got Linux Pearl! For those of you that might not know this, I'm a huge Apple fan. I don't like PCs. (I like Linux. :3) Linux Pearl is a free OS for PCs that looks and runs like a Mac! :pinkiegasp: It's the cheap way of getting a "Mac". Heck, it works for me. I'm so excited! I'm all updated and after weeks of trying new things we finally got it downloaded! So now I can do my art since my apps work now!!! :pinkiehappy:

Wow, that's awesome!

Heh, I'm currently running vista on a some odd number years old PC, which I can barely even watch youtube videos in 480 with 2 gig ram, single core, and some old really outdated dusty grafix card.

3491786 Ouch. Pearl is free, you've just gotta download the OS onto a DVD and rewrite another drive using it. That's what I did. Just don't rewrite your existing drive... You'll loose everything.

3492237 *high five*

Personally, the only reason I still use PC, is because I have a high end one, and most of my games are for PC.

If they weren't, I would use Linux Mint, or Ubuntu as mine. Those are the one's i'm familiar with most. :twistnerd::twilightsmile:

3492248 I almost got Mint but being the "I love shiny Macs" person I am, I got Pearl. Pear looks more like a Mac, but I liked the way Pearl ran.

3492268 How did it run?

3492305 It was pretty smooth. I just didn't like a few minor things (example- on Pearl and a Mac when the mouse isn't on the dock it fades. On Pear it didn't go away.) But it's nice besides that and, like I said, minor things that can be debated.

3492330 That's understandable. As long as they weren't major stuff.

3492330 But as I said, if I ever do go to linux I need:
1. a good selection of games
2. Able to run some windows games on Linux flawlessly
3. For the system to be stable.

I can give up a good amount of things just so I can make the switch; however, some things need to stay.

3492375 Yeah. PCs are good for gamers. I don't do that- I'm more into art and video making, so Mac is my best choice. Linux works fine for that. but yeah, they need more games.

3492380 I know Playonlinux is a program that supports a lot of games, however, my concern is that when one game updates, I may have to wait for PoL to update. :applejackunsure:

3492395 Still, Nice to talk to another Linux user.

Meh, it works, somehow. And I rather windows over apple OS anyway :derpytongue2:

so, you can do your art now, hm? :trixieshiftright: I may have some ideas...
