I'm so glad that the entire episode was NOT a dream, seeing as how the next episode showed them with the cutie marks still on them.
As for the episode itself, I loved it. In fact, it became my new favorite episode of the entire series (and if you had asked me back when Pinkie Pride came out if I thought I'd be liking a later episode even more than that one, I'd have said you were crazy and that it was impossible).

Not only did it give me the exact two things I was hoping for (Diamond Tiara becoming likable (and it's STILL weird for me to say that even though it's been almost a month since the episode came out) and the CMC getting their cutie marks), but the whole thing was also strangely intense.

Plus, it gave me several new songs to really enjoy, with two of them easily making my favorites for the entire show:
"The Pony I Want to Be", which did something I thought was more impossible than DT becoming likable: Actually make me feel BAD for her.
"The Light of Your Cutie Mark", which is arguably one of the most intense songs on the entire show.

And another reason I love this episode so much is because it really showed how much the CMC have grown as characters.

Heck, I loved every moment of this episode, and I can say with certainty that this is an absolutely perfect episode (at least to me).
