Update & Your Chance to Contribute! · 2:11pm Aug 7th, 2012
Hello everyone! I just wanted to say "THANK YOU!" to those of you who joined my new group Celestia Is The Best Pony! The group may be in its infancy, but I'm already pleased with this initial turn out!
Now as for the first part of this update, I wanted to let you know Chapter 4 of "You Brighten My Day" is going along very well! But it will still be a few days till it's ready. Right now I'm thinking it should be ready by the end of the week. Hopefully I can make some major headway tonight! =D
Now in the mean time, the 2nd part of the update. I'll bet you're all wondering about my blog Title (well I hope you are). "Your Chance to Contribue!" You didn't read it wrong. Since there is still time till the new chapter will be ready, I could use all of your help. There is going to be a scene where Daniel and Celestia eat pizza for dinner. But I'm not sure which pizza company to use. So this is your chance to have a say in which one I use, and have them talk about. Since I wasn't sure which one I want to use, while at work last night, I thought how about I have my fans and followers vote for the one they want me to use! It gives you a chance to help add something fun to the story.
Below I will have a list of the major pizza companies. All you need to do is post your choice in the comments below. I will tally up all the votes and then post the results in a special blog post. Since the next chapter will need at least 2 days or more. I'm going to hold an open poll for the next 48 hours. So you have till Thursday morning to cast your vote! I know this may seem silly, but who knows the pizza company you vote for could end up in the story and then you can say you helped contribute to the story! Besides if this has a positive turn out, I might do things like this in the future. Think of it as my way to thank you for your support! =D
It's simple, just vote for one of the main four or Generic, which will be something I randomly make up, or if you have a favorite local place, then vote for Other and provide the name.

Gotta be Domino's for me. We don't have Papa John's or Little Ceasers where I'm from, and frankly, I hate Pizza Hut, but for me, nothing beats a good Domino's.

I'd say Dominoes, nice and zesty with a pleasant little kick when you hit the crust. You know... or maybe Pizza Hut's new garlic bread pizza? I'm trying that tomorrow so it might have a more discussion worthy flavor than Dominoes.
o theres a small pizza place i know of called Cotton's pizza, Epic freakin pizza's. They give you what you pay for and alittle more..its the greatest since i live in a really small town.

Regardless of the winning pizza company, Celestia won't get that chance. But I'd be happy to entertain that idea if Daniel decides to get the ingredients to make pizza at home. There are some good pre-made crusts out there. Then all you need to do is top'm and bake'm!

Well so far it's a tie between Papa John's and Domino's. Pizza Hut is next, and Little Ceasars has no votes. As for all of you who chose your favorite local joint, if they don't win, do not despair! I'll be happy to consider their use in a future fic or possibly a later chapter. I can always use material!
