Taste of what is to come · 8:43pm Sep 29th, 2015
Just to give everyone a little taste of what is to come in the next chapter.
Now before anyone accuses me of a transformation happening, I promise you and give you my word as a Fimfiction Author, that Derrick will NOT and NEVER become a pony.
The hint you will read in this blog is just a taste of the twisted-shit that will explain the actual TRUTH to Derrick's external immunity to magic.
So, do not assume he is going to become a pony, because he is not.
And as for the confusion to come, you will just have to wait for this chapter and the next one.
Now back to writing for me.
Truth came in power.
Deep in the halls of Dark Hive, trouble brewed throughout the last hour of Nightmare Moon's royal guard changing shifts, their heads low in fear of the monstrous eyes glaring at each of them. The anger in those demonic orbs glowed in the shimmering light of the dark moon, magic of godly caliber caught in said eyes as an aura of red. Her naked hooves shook the pictures hanging on each side of the walls as she mumbled under her breath.
"How dare she!?" the tall alicorn narrowed her gaze at the guard accidentally getting in her way. Her extremely long, curved horn blazed with dark magic and surrounded the Thestral, before hurling him into the nearest guest room, which happened to be occupied by a pair of love-making Dark Sun guards—not that she cared anyway. "How dare she go behind my back and not tell me!?"
She passed through the first set of doors her overwhelming power splintered upon her return. She moved swiftly. She moved with rage. She moved with the fury of a mother that is looking for her lost foal.
I think this accurately describes what's coming.
Who is that tall alicorn?

I'll give you two hints as to who she is.
First Hint. . .
Equestrians have counterparts of who they are and who they are not, meaning they are the same but their opposite is more embracive of the darkness that is in everyday life.
Second Hint. . .
Faust is the goddess that gave birth to Celestia and Luna—that is to say in this story. But every pony has an opposite, even her. So if Fausticorn is the Goddess of Light and Life, then that means her opposite is———
I will let you fill in the blank.

*thinks it over for a moment*
Take my original comment and multiply it by 10.
Also should get some beer, cause sheit x10 is gonna be chaotic.
But no seriously, that snip there with your hints, tells me this is going to be really interesting, now I'm helluva eager beaver to see the whole thing.
Also curious to see anti-Faust's reaction to Derrick, if she is, well you know, the incarnation of death and darkness, I feel it'll be along the lines of...
"What in Tartarus is this hairless monkey doing in my palace," She said at the sight of the pathetic looking creature.
*blast of destructive magic*
Derrick standing there not even singed with this reaction

Let's just say there will be a great deal of scary/insane/cuddly mother in the story; and Faust will have a shitload of guilt weighed upon her shoulders when she sees how wrong she was.
