As the title suggests I want to reboot LOB.
I want to explain why this thought has entered my mind now. Back in the beginning of August I saw a group thread. Essentially it was someone begging for help to make their story better. Otherwise they'd scrap their story. I hated the thought of that so I offered my help.
Helping this person reminded me of LOB in a few areas. One he seemed to have a real issue in pacing his story something I feel I suffered from in the beginning (though I was also a bit lazy). Two they originally planned to have like 16 main characters. And that reminded me of all the 'main cast' I was going to have in LOB and that was a very bad idea so I persuaded them not to do so. Lastly sometimes the person had issues of keeping a canon character 'in character' something LOB does a lot.
I feel like right now I made a puzzle with missing pieces out of LOB. Or a square with five lines.
Originally I planned to go back and redo the first chapters. Like touch them up and whatnot. Or at least put them more in the style I adopted later on. However the problems I listed before are more ingrained in the story so I feel the only option left is to start from scratch.
So I ask the readers of LOB what they think. Is there any objections to this proposed reboot? If so what are they?
