WHOOOO!!!! I made it! I am now legally an adult XD Now, where's the nearest enlistment office? Lol, jk.
Anywho, today is a special day. It's very difficult to describe how I'm feeling. On one hand, I'm closing one chapter of my life behind as adulthood brings about new responsibilities and expectations. On the other hand, it's also the beginning of another. So, while I'm sad to see my old chapter close, I'm ready to embrace the next one with a new found hunger to explore it's contents! Just like how you guys feel when you finish the latest chapter of RotG XD This year has been filled with new experiences, turning 18, becoming a senior, getting college mail (that's always fun XD) etc, etc. So we'll see how it keeps on going :)
I'd also like to thank my friend EagleOfDeath15 for going out of his way to further supplement my 18th birthday with a few gifts!
Yeah, I know. Teens are always looking for material goods right? Well, I didn't ask for anything and it did come as a surprise to me. So with that said, thanks Eagle. I really do appreciate it :) Now, to go play XCOM and some Spartan Assault games XD Seriously though, thanks for being a good friend. It's more than just games or chatting with that makes a true friend. I've been through some hard times and you've never hesitated to listen. That's something rare to find.

Thanks again, and thank you guys. I've put you guys through some thick and thin here and I'm proud to say that all of you have stuck through it with me. I'm very thankful. Here's to future chapters and hopefully stories to experience with one another :) I'll forever be a brony, even long after this place may die out. This place was a very important chapter to my life. I've learned a lot.
Now, I don't intend to put a dampener on things, but this birthday is also particularly hard for me. As many of you know, my father passed away last year of cancer. This will be the first year without him. No messages from him while out on the roads of the great United States, doing the thing he loved to do. In two days the first anniversary of his death will pass. I'm still unsure if I'm going to say anything here on the 17th. We'll see. I do miss him.
Sorry guys, I had to get that out. I can't just ignore it and pretend everything is going to be ok 
Again though, I appreciate your guy's support, both from last year and any continuing thoughts.
Well then, sorry for being the party pooper of my own birthday XD Let's move on!

A bit of friendly advice though: MEPS is hell on earth. And DO NOT LIE TO PEOPLE THERE. Way too many people get kicked out for lying at MEPS.
Congratulations for becoming 18 years old now brother! Remember, even if you're 18 and now considered an adult, don't let things get you down. Everyone needs to relax outside of their zone from time to time, even when there are many expectations.
As for that, it was no problem getting you gifts man, especially the coming of age
. I'd do it out of my way for a good friend. We have so many things in common, who knows, you could be my long lost brother I never knew I had XD. Anyway, never forget that everyone and I are here to support you all the way. 
Wherever your father is, I'm sure he's up there watching you above, proud of your commitments and achievements in life and for many more to come.

3396047 The ASVAB is a piece of cake. Don't stress about it. I qualified for any job in any branch of the military.
3396067 Is the test about academic knowledge, situation reactions, or a morality test? Because I'm pretty sure I'd do well in most areas. A - B student, good morals, and good instinct.
