Hey there, Followers of Anarchy! So, as some of you may already know, my new story, Mare Do Well: Assault on Aurora, is up. Haven't seen it? What're you waiting for? The next Arkham game?! It's on your right!
But before you go, MAJOR SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ IT YET!!!
In case you hadn't noticed, the riddles used be Trixie/Puzzler were actual riddles used by The Riddler over the course of DC history! So, in appreciation of his genius (although he can be annoying at times), I'm doing a thing! At the end of each chapter there will be a riddle in the author's note. Be advised, I'm gonna be mixing it up; some riddles will be from Riddler, others will be from me. So don't count on Google to solve all your problems.
But I would appreciate it if you tried to solve them without help from the largest info bank on the planet. Kinda seems like cheating. Prizes include invisible snacks, imaginary gifts, and the chance to affect some of my stories in different ways (no spoilers
). Prizes will be given after each riddle and the winners will be announced in the next chapter (and possibly blog post).
I'm so glad to see that this story is such a success. It got, like, 10 faves in 15 minutes! You guys rock! Although I have the usual unexplained down votes. May I please ask what you find wrong with it? It feels sort of rude to just give a downvote without a reason. Especially if your reason is as off-point as you not liking the theme or the names or if it just isn't your thing. If I got something wrong, tell me and I'll take the correction. If you just don't like it, then just don't read it!
Anyway, in other news, Heroes of Harmony has been an epic success and, apparently, my best story yet, looking at the like:dislike ratio. Rise and Fall is at a bit of a standstill as my laptop still isn't back and it has all my rewritten chapters. But I'll try to work AMAP from my iPad. And I have an announcement: due to frustration in trying to figure out a reasonable number of challenges, production of Total Chaos has been put on hiatus. It was a lot harder than I thought trying to use three teams.
So there is a possibility that the third team comprising of the OCs will not be involved. However, there is a compensation. I am also working on a fic based on the inFamous series and am looking for some Conduits to play supportive and recurring roles. Let me know if your interested and I'll set up a g.doc and send you the link. My apologies for the disappointment.

3395546 Yes and yes. The limit is no OP. You can't have a Conduit with power to control time or warp reality or have the powers of The Beast. It has to be over a tangible substance they can absorb and use. But what did you have in mind?
3395566 My idea was having Solar Eclipse have abilities of mind manipulation. His powers involves altering the minds of those around him to either do his bidding, or for him to "feed" on because he needs blood or something. I can't decide on either blood or electricity but only limiting the electricity to that inside the human body.

As for his appearance, he wears a nice black leather jacket with a blood red moon on the back, and a blood red t-shirt, dark blue jeans with a spiky belt, black and red tennis shoes, and a silver ring with a ruby in the center on his left middle finger. Short, spiky black hair with a single red streak on the left, and blood red eyes.
3396722 Cool. The Blood Pack is in. So I'm guessing he absorbs blood from either people or blood bags in hospitals.
3396724 Yes, though he prefers to suck the blood from his foes until they're nothing but skin and bone.
His blood powers range from controlling his foes with their blood, making their blood boil from the inside, and even is able to turn into a blood like state for faster travelling and even greater control over those in his way.
3396727 So he drains blood more like a vampire than a regular Conduit? Okay. Also, you see him as neutral, but draining blood from random people kinda leans to villain. Unless you just mean he's not part of any big villain group.
3396732 He doesn't go after random citizens, he only harms those who are opposing his gang and loved ones. The Blood Pack is an independent mercenary band specializing in weapons dealing, though they are responsible for supplying weapons to big villain syndicates, they aren't bad guys, they just sell to whoever pays the most cash. And yes, his blood draining ability is similar to that of vampires, so he's sometimes referred to as a vampire. Again, he's not a bad guy, he just supplies weapons and works for the ones who pay the most cash, regardless of morality, though there are boundaries even he won't cross, like harming innocent civilians, he HATES harming innocents. He'll only kill civilians if he's absolutely desperate for blood.

3396748 The police see him as a crime lord due to a very particular moment in his life.
Ever since he was young, he knew he wasn't normal, he knew he was "different" from the others; that he was a Conduit. At first he had difficulty controlling his powers, getting him in trouble many times. He became a member of the Blood Pack at the age of 17 and quickly rose through the ranks due to his skill in the shadows and remaining unseen, securing many deals and killing many contracts. That all changed on his 18th birthday; he was out walking the streets of his home with his friends when the police recognized him as a Blood Pack member and attempted to arrest him, but ended up killing his fellow members. The shock from his friends death caused him to snap, and he used his blood powers to go on a killing spree, bodies littered the streets with missing limbs, mangled corpses, and scattered body parts all over the city.

3396763 He carries a lance infused with his blood so he can summon it at will, and he always has 2 pistols, and an assault rifle for when things get too hot for his blood powers to handle, though he prefers not to use weapons, he carries them just in case. Most of the time he manipulates the blood of fallen foes or creatures to distract his enemies while his followers take them out, but he will go guns blazing if either the mission calls for it, or when he's pissed off beyond belief. If he does get pissed, he uses his weapons more often; especially the blood lance, and he'll often make his enemies suffer by boiling their blood from the inside.
