CanterlotGuardian

Derpy, Pinkie Pie, Sweetie Belle, Chrysalis. Myself, summed up in four MLP characters. I'm a deeply flawed individual, but if you can get past that, I'm sure we can be the best of friends.

how awesome are you? this awesome! (also filly OC's wanted) · 11:37pm Sep 4th, 2015

I've got some cool stuff planned for my stories in the near future, and being the awesome people that you are, I figured I'd let you all get in on the action before the rest of, well, everyone. So here's the deal.

Tomorrow (Saturday, the 5th of Sept) I will be doing a live writing of chapter 3 of Six, which I will post the link to once I get the GDoc set up. You can watch me write and form my story as I'm doing it! Isn't that grand?

Sunday (the 6th) is even better though. I'll be writing a brand new story, a one-shot, from start to finish on GDocs, and I'm making that a live writing as well. And this is where the second part of the heading comes in. If you want your filly OC to be featured in the story, let me know in the comments section. I just need names and maybe a reference pic if you have one.

Keep tuned y'all!

Hi! You can use my OC little Slip. On my profile you can see since drawings of her. I can link more if you need them.

Only one should be enough. I just need a general image of her just in case I want to do a description or something in the story.

Consider your OC added! :D

Name: Amenda Fate (Amended Fate)
Race: Unicorn
Age: CMC-ish
Hometown: Filly Delphia, Emerald Street
Current Place of Residence: Canterlot, Campus of the School of Gifted Unicorns
Occupation of the Father: Professor at the Institute of Natural Science
Occupation of the Mother: Development Services Coordinator at the Filly Delphia Museum of Art

Phys. Description: Bright fur, white to beige. Azure hair with light ombric tendencies towards orange-red around the neck(natural). Orange eyes. healthy weight and slightly below average size. A closed string as a cutie mark.

Mentality: Cheerful and happy around other ponies, albeit she has troubles placing herself in Canterlot, far away from home and separated from her parents. Especially in the evenings she is sad that they cannot be with her, but she stays as she has frequent letter contact with them and they repeatedly make sure she is fine and let her know how proud they are of her. The parents, at any point, would allow her to drop out and come back home, but she stays to make them happy (extensive explanations of the whys ensured her understanding of the importance). From time to time she gets to visit them, the journey paid by royalty, what immensely helps.
Other: Born with her cutie mark, its meaning unknown. Amenda is known by Celestia and under the watchful eyes of Canterlot's professors.

Character plot: Inspired by the Norns, Amenda Fate has the power to alternate, and with that dictate, the destiny of other ponies. Other then most other ponies, she never received her cutie mark for an achievement or self finding, but she got it imprinted in her very existence. With her magic she not only has (read: will have) the ability to see everypony's past and future but also the power to rewrite the letter and manipulate the first. How extreme both powers will form out is unknown.

The primary reason for her to attend the School for Gifted Unicorns is, in difference to the other students, not to form and train her abilities but to find out what it is that makes her so special. The fact that she is special remains uncontested first with the waves in media her birth struck; it never had been seen before in the current generations that a pony was born with a cutie mark. The fact also is proven by the calmness and accuracy with which she walks through life. Already when she attended the first pre-school institutions she never was subject to critical failure or emotional breakdowns, as they can often happen to foals that age triggered by otherwise meaningless things like a stolen toy.

She also proofed to be a fast learner, without showing the special ambition to top the other foals or expand her own skills in a rapid fashion, albeit the talent would allow it. Celestia's attention to her was firstly risen by the newspapers at her birth, but fell down again swiftly as many other things didn't allow her to hunt for all interesting events in her kingdom. It only was brought back to the surface when a professor from Canterlot brought in his reports years later. The professor, doing major research on the field of cutie marks, had instantly determined his further doings to study this very uncommon case when he read about it. With a subtle hoof he had made first contact with the family after the stress of becoming a family had settled down, and he continued forming the continuous growing relation into a friendship between the two families.

Over the years he kept track of Amenda's progress in personality, abilities and physical development. When she came close to the age of becoming a school filly, to him the case was clear. He handed in his reports directly to Princess Celestia and practically campaigned for Amanda to receive her place in Canterlot's best school. Celestia eventually gave in to him and visited the parents. Needless to say, this caused again quite an uprising in the media. What followed was the start of a very interesting life of a very special pony.

:applejackconfused: Nuts! I only wanted to see if I can craft a character from nowhere, as I never wrote a filly/child OC before.

For never having done it before, you did a pretty extensive job. I can definitely work with that. Thanks!

3370824 Thanks. It showed me that I'm limited in crafting the little ones though.

I would love for my OC to be featured her name is moonrose (duh) and as for a reference pic, would my profile pic be enough?

it is, thank you. I'm giving people until Sunday to submit their OC's, at which point I'll write the story and post it here.
