Been doing edits for I, Scrappy, sorry for the wait. Here's some spoilers.

I've been re-editing I, Scrappy mostly. I'm STILL working on the next Crazies chapter and the next Llamas: A Drama. It's a good thing I'm better at action than I am at slice of life, because Felix left me plenty of opportunities to make these stories explosive.

    SPOILER WARNING!!!

    Sorry its taking so long.

Felix's death hit hard on all of us, I think. Without him, we all seem so dulled out and bland. I'm having trouble building upon what he's already created. But I'm going to do my absolute best and keep going, because this is the only thing he's ever asked of me. To not let SkelePone die.

    So!

I'm working real hard on The Crazies chapter 2, and super hard on the next Llamas chapter.

Worried I might not have what it takes.

"Leif. Lemme tell ya a few things about writing My Little Pony fan fiction. One, take that love and tolerance shit and shove it up your ass. Two, make it feel real. The show seems real enough, but give the characters real world problems. And three. Make it fit. I'm giving you the entirety of the SkeleVerse. I'll get pissed if ya fuck it up somehow. Anyways, I'm going to bed. Night,

The Last Known Writing of SkelePone (Felix Aberg)

I was given Felix's laptop. On it, and in his Google Drive, I found previously unpublished chapters for his most popular stories. These were the last pieces of writing that Felix ever did. I have a theory that he died the very night he wrote these that I am about to show you.

This is Leif Mason, bringing tragic news

I'm sorry to inform you that Felix Åberg, the first SkelePone and by far the most loved, passed away earlier this morning. His melanoma had gotten significantly worse the last few days, and he died in his sleep.

Sometimes, stories just don't work. · 12:16pm Sep 4th, 2015

Agents of Tartarus: Monster-Hunters would have been huge. A colossal story about Special Agent Sweetie Drops' backstory. But it never took of.

It's okay to give up on a story. Especially if the story disinterests you or you hit a major writer's block for it. What other people say shouldn't affect how you write. If you want to stop, stop. If they want you to stop, don't stop for them, keep going. If want to to keep going, keep going. If they want you to keep going, you can stop, btu you'll disappoint fans of the story you wrote.

It's true. I've had plenty of stories and characters fall to the wayside over the years simply because they didn't work. Some of them I miss. But I'm also the kind of person who will sometimes find a new angle, a way to revamp an old character or idea, and suddenly I am inspired once more.

3369774 Exactly, Bard! In fact, a lot of ideas for Agents of Tartarus are going into my Four Ponies story.

Awesome! I shall be reading that this weekend! Would you mind if I shared a recent experience with this very thing?

3369945 Go right ahead! Especially if you plan on doing so in your own blog. It makes me happy to give others ideas.

Haha, well I already have, and I'll be happy to give you a link after. But, basically, what happened was this. I Published the first piece of my story, Just What I'm Dying For... because I was so confident I could finish the second piece quickly. In reality, it took almost a month. The first half came out no problem, but the second half just... didn't work. I was overtired when I first tried to write it, and forcing it the second time around. It just didn't work.

So, for various reasons, I just left the project where it was and considered abandoning it altogether, and just releasing what I had written via a blog. But then inspiration struck when I thought of a new angle for the conversation I was stuck on, and the rest flowed relatively and comparatively easy. It turned out being, to me, one of my best works.

And here's the blog detailing my experience in more detail, if you'd like to read: http://www.fimfiction.net/blog/500679/what-ive-learned
