As much as I try to diversify myself, there are just some things in stories, movies, or games that will make me leave them, finished or not, because I can't handle them. Same applies to art and, well, any creative media.
Now I could list a lot of stuff that applies to all fiction but I'm just going to list stuff related to Friendship is Magic art, stories, tumblrs ect, things that if even one is present I will unwatch, unfollow, unfavorite, or give a down rating if I come across it, usually without a response. There are some exceptions but often it's only if the issue is tangentally related or part of a Tumblr Crossover.
What do I mean by "deal breaker"? Well to clarify it means that if I like you stuff, follow you for months and keep up with your story, comic, art, or tumblr for a long time but then you use one of these ideas, I'm most likely going to unwatch, unfollow, unfavorite, or give a down rating and just leave it alone from now on. I'm not tryign to stop these, just to give an indicaiton of why you'll never see my liking any of these thigns except under special circumstances.
Also, this mostly applies to resolutions or "destinations" and some of these I can handle if they are reversed or fixed by the end of their story. I know it ruins surprise to learn endings first but to me if I know the destination is going to be unpleasant then I won't go on the journey.
Transgender Rainbow Dash: No not Rule 63 or Genderswap to Rainbow Blizt but a concious decision made by Dash to get a sex change because she "doesn't feel like a mare". Now I could go into a rant here, and probably will, but I'll try to be calm about this: I don't get why Rainbow would want a sex change, ever. I mean I think it goes against the setup and message of the show with the Mane Six all being women who can do whatever they want and somehow it feels just wrong that Dash would think she's a Stallion. This applies to any of the Mane Six but I've only seen this particular subject taken with Rainbow Dash so that's how I list it. But Rule 63 and Genderwap AUs and such, that's fine because it's more or less a history re-write, or sexy artwork.
AppleDash stories: The one couple I can never understand. I can handle artwork or tumblrs that depict this but every time I read an AppleDash story it just feels so forced. I might read these if it's a beta couple to one of my OTPs but then again my main OTP is PinkieDash so there ya go.
Permanent Psychological Damage Mane Six: I could have listed specific examples but in all honesty this is a major break for me. I know that it's a possibility for the mane six to go forever crazy, but I just don't like that. If there is a proper resolution and the character recovers in the end I can handle it but nto if the character is say left in the mental ward without any "on screen" event where they are released or if they are sent to an asylum forever. Also if the story deals with all the mane six going crazy over time, even if they recover, I might avoid it as well.
Mane Six/CMC/Spike Team Killers: Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, Pattycakes, Sweet Apple Massacre... Stuff like that where one of the ten main characters goes nuts and starts killing all their friends. I avoid almost everything connected to these kind of stories including artwork but especially "sequels" or "continuations" or "resolutions" no matter how well they are written. However "it's all a dream" stories and "takedown stories" I can get behind as long as it's not implied that the events in the dream (or whatever it was) will ever happen or ever did happen. Oddly I can handle stuff where the mane six aren't the victims, there's a tumblr called AskMurdershy that I actually like beacuse Flutters never attacks her friends and at one point throws a shitfit when someone mentions Cupcakes. Yeah it may be some form of hippocracy but in this case I don't mind it.
Mane Six/CMC princesses/queens: I used to like this idea, but now I can't stand it. If any of the mane six becomes an Alicorn, even temporarily, I will avoid the story at all costs. As artwork it's fine cause I can handle art of this but not major story threads. Unlike most story things, I can't even handle this being undone, I just prefer it not to be done at all. I can handle it if the Mane Six are immortal, but only if they remain in their mortal non-alicorn forms.
Evil Twilight Sparkle: This could be more broad, but in all honesty I see this with Twilight more than any other. The idea of Twilight going evil, turning on her friends, deposing Celestia and anything of the sort just grinds me in a way I can't even begin to describe. This can apply to anypony betraying their idol and denouncing them while evil even if it's because of an outside influence. This is one of the reasons I tend to avoid fics with a "dark" and especially "grimdark" tag. Again this is something I avoid even if it's undone in the end.
End of the World introspection: I know the world will end, I know it's inevitable, I know that some characters in the FiM universe are immortal and will witness that, does not mean I want to think about it or go and read this stuff over and over or even once.
Element Loss=Character loss: I'm sorry but I don't buy the idea that the Mane Six are only good ponies or even the ponies we know just because they possess the Elements of Harmony, it's the other way around: the Mane Six possess the Elements of Harmoyn because they are good ponies and exemplify those traits without needing to own the elements. If a story, comic, or tumblr deals with them losing or passing them along and suddenly losing that part of their characters forever then no I won't accept. Example: Rarity loses her element and suddenly starts being a possessive, selfish monster who disregards anypony elses feelings and hoardes everything she finds and makes for herself. Before you ask, yes I did watch "Return of Harmony" and I liked it for the most part, but the mind-rape done to the characters and this effect being applied to those episodes means that I will likely never watch those episodes again because I didn't like what happened.
Human Lyra: For a while I thought this was cute... then I read Anthropology. Yes I know that story is well written, yes I know it's a popular one, and yes I know that the meta-commentary on Lyra's obsession with going to Earth mirrored the brony obsession of going to Equestria, but I'm sorry once the revelation that Lyra was always human dropped and she went to Earth the story compeltely shot down all my interest. I read the end to find out how it turned out and I was pissed, but I didn't leave a snarky comment. However once I read enough of that story I began to realize how stupid it was to make Lyra a Human-obsessed pony just because of her sitting position in one episode; I prefer to have alternate explainations as to why Lyra sits like that, rainging from "It's jsut somethign I do" to "I must use the back of the bench because it's there and why would there be backs if we weren't supposed to use them". Lyra liking humans is OK in artwork but I'm going to avoid most stories that explroe that theme, though one story I read did handle it decently, though Lyra wasn't the main character so there you go.
That about all I can remember that applies here. IO'm not tryhign to troll I'm just stating these points so you know why I will never read, look at, or experience stuff related to these. And with very very VERY rare exception if I see one of these pop up in your gallery, story, Tumblr or anything I will turn and walk away, unfollow, unfav, or give a bad rating.
By give a bad rating, you mean you will look into it first right?
Meh, we all have what we like and Don't like. I prefer to avoid sad ones, but it's kinda tricky because many stories have a sad title to them but work out very well in the end, so it's kinda hard to tell if I should read one or not w/out going straight to the end of it first.
Never read a story were Dash went for a sex-change, but I mostly look in Romance fics and somehow that doesn't sound like it'd apply.
Rainbow Dash and Applejack work fine for me, but it's not one of my favorite pairings, it still makes more sense to me then Applejack and Rarity though, and a heck of alot more then Twilight and Rarity.
Princess stuff is also a tad rare in romance, besides them falling in love with em anyways, only seen I think two where one of the mane six turn into alicorns.
Really the deal killer for me is grammar, if the writer's second language is english it shows and it really hurts me to try and get through all the errors. Sudden shifts in character personalities also hurts.
In the end I just read and not write them, if I like it I favorite and read it, if I don't I leave it be unless it's really badly done.

If it's a story, yes, but if it's artwork usually just leave the artists "watching" list.
