Good evening, followers of mine.
Many of you also follow my longtime editor, Minds Eye, but for those of you who do not, let me introduce him and a piece he has been working on and I have been editing for the last year.
It's a story about Change, and a Changeling. It's about what makes a Changeling what they are, who they are, and shows us for whom they declare their loyalty. And why.
This story really digs deep into the lore of the changelings, not the Queen's lore, but that of the soldier, the worker, the spy. We see a lot in this story, and we can surmise more.
This is an all OC story, but it is well done, and the OCs are alive within the world of ponies, parts of it rather than apart from it. It's a well woven story.
I don't want to say too much more, because that might spoil this story. It's quite the journey to follow, and it has been quite the journey for myself and Minds Eye, to edit and write respectively. I learned a lot about editing, critiquing, and leaving the style of another as it is while still offering what I hope was good advice and helpful suggestions to add depth here, or clarity there.
I hope that any of you who read this story follow as closely with the changes our protagonist goes through as the story moves, as he learns and lives and... well, there's a reason the romance tag is there.
