Roughly 3K into the next chapter. Hopefully will hit 4K before the night is over. No official ETA because my muse is fickle, but hopefully before the end of the month.
As usual, this is a snippet of a work in progress and doesn't necessarily reflect the finished product.
“So, uh, I hear RD conned you into a shower down at the court and decided she really wanted some of what Pinkie was havin’.” Applejack’s voice came half out of her cider glass.
“I wouldn’t say she conned me. It’s kind of inevitable that you get a little sweaty after playing basketball.” Twilight blushed, grinning sheepishly. “And we found each other quite attractive, yes.” She reached up a hand slowly to caress Applejack’s bangs. “You’re really attractive too, Applejack, and I haven’t even seen you naked yet.”
“You been teachin’ Twi cheesy pickup lines, or was that Pinkie?” Applejack chuckled. “Nah, I’m just kiddin’. I can’t rightly say whether or not it’s got anythin’ to do with Princess Twi or not, but you are dang hard to get outta my mind. S’why I let RD talk me into this.”
Any protest Twilight felt like making was swallowed up by Applejack’s lips. Her lips felt a little rougher, more like Flash than Pinkie, and she trembled a little, but the kiss was warm and apple flavored with a sharp tang of alcohol underneath.
