A Terrifying Figure Emerges from the Darkness

Hi all. This might be a long post, apologies in advance.

It's been almost a year since my last update, and just over a year since I had my head smashed in like a watermelon.

Why I Haven't Updated Recently - In Bullet Points

    - Moved out
    - Thought I had enough money to cover rent
    - Didn't, because the Student Loan Company are a bunch of retards and pay the largest installment AFTER I finish my tenancy agreement
    - Had to take up whatever job I could find (no experience)
    - Only job I could find is in a night club
    - Only working night shifts, 5 nights a week

Man needs to stop typing like he thinks he's a roadman; he's a fucking wasteman mate.

My Experiences of College Education Condensed · 11:00pm Jul 13th, 2015

It is not enough to succeed; others must fail.

Thanks, AQA.

That being said, I'll more than likely be one of those succeeding, but I can't help but look at those who put no effort in (and will inevitably fail) and think to myself, "There but for the grace of a decent upbringing go I."

Problem being too many idiots my age taking their tax payer funded education for granted, honestly. Overhearing someone I know saying that they're going to university just to party and 'meet new people' (see: not so subtly sleeping around) makes me despair for my generation.

Meh, what do I care? I'll be the one with the degree at the end of it - and a useful one at that! None of this 'easy course just to squeeze into uni and socialise' bullshit. What a fucking waste.

...

Still, food for thought. I'm lucky I was born me, I suppose.

- Mike

P.S. Yes, this blog is essentially me gloating over actually putting hard work into my studies this past year, and at great personal expense too. I'm a tad drunk, let me have my moment.
