That being said, I'll more than likely be one of those succeeding, but I can't help but look at those who put no effort in (and will inevitably fail) and think to myself, "There but for the grace of a decent upbringing go I."
Problem being too many idiots my age taking their tax payer funded education for granted, honestly. Overhearing someone I know saying that they're going to university just to party and 'meet new people' (see: not so subtly sleeping around) makes me despair for my generation.
Meh, what do I care? I'll be the one with the degree at the end of it - and a useful one at that! None of this 'easy course just to squeeze into uni and socialise' bullshit. What a fucking waste.

Still, food for thought. I'm lucky I was born me, I suppose.
