So, in an attempt to get the spark back for my own writing (long story short, I need to shift writing from an outlet to relieve depression, which isn't really an issue anymore, to something more hobby-like), I decided to give collaboration a shot. My friend, David Silver had blogged about the idea of playing around in a universe he'd created with his writing, which closely paralleled the canon verse. The only major difference is that a being that is able to see the various paths one might walk, who is called 'The Text' occasionally decides to move a human over to muddle things up a bit. That's the focus of this collaboration, and is about as close to a self-insert as I'll ever end up doing, probably. It starts off set in the frozen north with some scenes reminiscent of Indiana Jones. So, without further ado, I present to you the story in question.
If all goes well, I might resume my own writing within the next month or so. This collaboration should update somewhat decently until then, for those interested. I urge you to give it a try.
